Now my view on your brilliant question. I think electric motor will take over from internal combustion engine in small and medium size vehicles like bikes, tricycles and small saloon cars, because the power requirements to run small motors are not much. But for huge vehicles like trailers, busses and big cars, internal combustion engine will continue to rule for a long time.
Huge battery banks can be complicated and dangerous, and begins to add significant weight to the vehicle itself.

I have always wondered why we don't start experimenting with building electric keke Marwa/NAPEP, as it is a small light weight vehicle used for short distance transportation. Their garage can also serve as a charging stating.
If it's not that I am under extreme stress with the pressures of family and business this is something i would love to experiment with.

My oldest daughter is a Nurse at one of the hospitals in Central Florida and you can't believe what she's telling me about happenings in hospitals across Florida not only in Tampa Bay where she works. What I don't really understand is the figures being touted about That 80% of new cases are delta variant. I have scoured the web and there does not seem any normal test for the strain unless in a complex lab that does genome sequencing. Mumbai got its first genome sequencing lab just two days ago for instance.
Covid tests indicate presence of the rona, not the particular strain.
Im sceptical to an extent of the prevalence of the delta variant, the others variants are still not rooted out.And the fact that there does not seem progress in rolling out a drug to treat the rona. Everything we hear is get vaccinated.
