So I informed my DLI that I am yet to get a visa in response to their mail requesting for an update on my resumption status. I told them I am still waiting for a decision and may seek a deferral to winter or summer 2022. I was told they cannot defer again and I should send them a withdrawal letter by August so they can process refund of tuition deposit.

I am considering starting my studies as the fall semester is commencing online by September. I will however not be eligible for a refund if my application is denied after commencing online. I will also not be able to complete the program as it has mandatory 240hrs industry placement before I can graduate.

I need the gurus to advise me cause at this junction confusion is confusing my confusion. February 19 applicant

I started application for diploma in digital business at TSOM but I did not complete the application because I felt it won't be a wise move to go for diploma. I have BSc, 41years and 16years experience in banking.

After like a week I got a call from the school about the uncompleted application. They said my previous qualification does not really matter in canada. I was advised to go ahead and complete the application and make part payment before Aug 19 to enjoy the scholarship. They also said the school will assist In my visa application.

Guys how true is this.....

Bro don't use that main Street microfinance bank, try other banks and arrange ur funds well with well explained LOE
frankob:
Please I heard moving money around is suspicious so can I use my micro finance bank statement or move the money to a bigger bank like GTB and the likes?
Have anyone gotten decision based not micro finance bank statement? Do Canada even accept statements from micro finance banks?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Omankem8(f): 11:44pm On Aug 05, 2021
Leave Tsom alone. They do not offer PGWP. Unless you don't need one. I heard recently they affliated with UCW. I don't have the details. Research properly.

Well said,I used it and they doubted the genuinety

I doubt if micro finance is a recognized financial institution by ircc, I'll advise you move it but you must attach the micro finance statement of account referencing the transaction, this should also be back up with a simple letter of explanation.
Just my thought though

B4 the gurus come, here is my take:
- A refund invalidates your LOA.
- Apply for a fresh admission, pay the application fee and secure the admission.
- Write to the school and transfer the sch fees to the new admission.
- If the sch refunds you before the new admission lands, pay the fees immediately you secure the admission.

If these are not group of scammers, then the school must be hungry for money.

Pls dont continue with the application. The goal is to get the visa. I would advice you go for a P.G Cert or Masters prog.

Good Afternoon my people. Please I need help on what to do. I applied for study permit on the 16th of April 2021 with a passport that would expire on the 1st of September 2021. At the moment, l am yet to receive my renewed passport. I will like to know if this would affect the VO in reaching a conclusion on my application. Also, is it possible IRCC send me PPR when I have not send my renewed passport to them. I will appreciate your timely response. Gurus in the house kindly advice me on this

It won't affect your application. However, you need to urgently start the your passport renewal process to enable you submit the new passport should you get approved.

All the best.

Well, I don’t know the tone of your email to them, but not withstanding, you have a right to your refund EXCEPT if you already registered for courses. Course registration is what seals your contract with the school, and once this is done, you are liable to pay your full tuition even if you never attended the classes afterward.

My candid advice: Relax on courses registration till you have the outcome of your study permit. And if your study permit gets approved after your classes resumption; write a fresh request for deferral of your studies (you don’t need to mention that your permit have been approved), and if they decline your request which I doubt they will, automatically, you are entitled to a full refund as long as it becomes obvious that the fault isn’t on you, and you haven’t signed off for courses.

Guys how true is this.....

Forget that school, package your CV properly and shoot for a MBA or MSc in Digital business. And for your information, NO school assists its future candidates in visa application processes please; that is a desperate lie. Your age is truly not an issue here; you only need to package a good SOP for visa purposes. Good luck!

Good morning Guys,

So my Gcms notes(cbsa) came in last night, I have treated the Request to provide my bank statement and I still see it in the pre-assessment note although in the former gcms notes I ordered, I saw incoming status where my bank statement reception was acknowledged on June 27,2021.

However in my recent notes from cbsa, I saw a due date for my medicals for July 27,2021.but I was not given a medical request.

Compliance verification is required as well.

Yes it’s allowed but for the groundnut oil, I’d say don’t carry because they have good vegetable oil over there .
It’s even more refined than ours.
Ok now, taking note, Gracias!!

But can I go with my GOYA Extra Virgin Oil, if yes, should i leave the content in that glass bottle (mine is quite big like a Coke bottle and can break if it falls on the ground) or I should pour the content into a Plastic table water Bottle?

Yes...from my friends who have travelled ,you can carry all these but I will advice you not to carry Groudnut oil cuz there is more than enough Groundnut oil in Canada and for organic soaps... Best shot is to put them in a transparent nylon and label them...if its black soap...u can use a white cellotape and label it black soap...I think it will save the stress of asking questions on what you're carrying... If possible label all your raw food stuffs and put them in a transparent bag. .foodstuffs like Grinded Egusi, crayfish, etc

Amazing Tips..... Taking note

Obrigado smiley

Frankrobbn1:

As clearly indicated in the GCMS notes, the visa officer has grave concerns about the entirety of the application submitted. The proof of relationship with the sponsor who is a third party was not well substantiated. There is no rational evidence to show that the applicant has complete access to funds in the sponsor's account. More so, there is no career progression as the proposed program is not reasonable insight with either of the applicant's work experience and/or previous studies. In light of these enumerated concerns, my professional advice for this application, is that the applicant should consider applying to a course more directly relevant with the current employment and also change the sponsor to someone closely related say, parents or siblings.

It will end in praise

Amen. Thanks so much. I'm grateful. Please, can he sponsor himself ? Like how much does he need to have to do this? Thanks.
