The website is hosted on heroku, based on my findings I discovered that it is advisable to use another platform for the file storage(e.g cloudinary, etc). Which platform do you use for your storage. I have only had to work with local file storage while uploading pictures.

Cloudinary is cool too and their is Amazon S3. Laravel already provides support for S3.
