The debate is on the benefits on vaccination, therefore the Maths is on the probability of getting hospitalised. What you have calculated is not the probability of getting hospitalised, but the probability that someone already in Hospital is vaccinated.

The prevalence of vaccinated people in THE HOSPITAL is 40%. The prevalence of vaccinated hospitalised people in the population is 14 times lower than for the unvaccinated.

Wetin consign us with the prevalence in the Hospital. Are we in the Hospital? What concerns us is cutting our risk of going to Hospital which we can do by a factor of 14 if we take the vaccine.

One day we will get to 100% of people in Hospital being vaccinated when 100% of the population is vaccinated. So does your Maths make sense to you?

Rubbish. Below is you framing it in the context of vaccines not working. You even said hospitalisations are at an equal rate. Rate refers to per capita if you don't know.

Like I said, one day ~100% of people in Hospital will be vaccinated because ~100% of the population will be vaccinated, but the proof that vaccines work will be that total admissions will be much lower compared to when we were all unvaccinated.
