Yes. Samuel Ikechukwu Edozie. 18 yrs of age. Attacking midfield/Winger talent. Been following the lad since he walked into the Man City youth setup. An exciting talent to look out for. Scored three goals already in preseason from 3 games.

Like Shola Shoretire of Man Utd (17 yrs old), he is very eligible for Nigeria. Time will tell but got eyes on him as well as so many others. wink

And thanks.

Truidstar:
Nice.....Nerdy..watched one Sam Edozie for Mancity, exciting attacker a Phil Foden type of attacker.

Why does Iwobi get so much stick even when he plays well.

Man will never succeed in England.

Modified: Iwobi abysmal in the second half. I give up on the man.

Nigerian Triple threat at Watford start

William Troost Ekong (#5), Oghenekaro Peter Etebo (#4), and Emmanuel Dennis Bonaventure (#25) all start for Watford in their final preseason friendly vs Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park (Home of Palace).

Tom Dele-Bashiru (#24) makes the bench and hopefully he has an injury-free season.

No Isaac Success. Could leave on loan. Time will tell.

No Michael Olise for Palace. And ofcos Ebere Eze is still on the sidelines recovering.

Game kicks off in 49mins.

Like I have always said, Iwobi's biggest problem is his lack of consistency

Big Congrats to Brazil for another Olympic Football Gold medal triumph.

Kudos also to Richarlison for finishing as Top scorer with 5 goals.

Congrats too to Dani Alves, the most decorated footballer in the round leather game.

Brazil remains the greatest football nation on earth. Their factory of talents will never stop working and never cease producing top quality and world class ballers.

Felicitations. cool

It's possible but I am most certain of Jack Grealish making the bench even though they just signed him. Pep and City wanna give him his first trophy already. grin

No cap

Daniel alves did it at 38

But some cr7 fan boys will come and say Olympic is not important because cr7 failed to win it as they could not even beat common iraq abi Na Iran

Just take a look at Daniel alves that have more achievement than cr7 went to fight for the Olympic at age 38

All hail the most decorated player of all time Daniel alves

All hail the greatest of all time for also winning the 2008 Olympics

All hail king Kanu for giving naija the Atlanta 96

What's one thing almost always certain about Reading FC for the past few seasons?

Answer: Nigerian names appearing in their team lineups or matchday squads. From Aluko, to Ighodaro Nelson Abbey, to Ejaria and then to Akpovie Olise.

Today, it is 20 yrs old Femi Azeez. Anglo-Nigerian and a forward.
Made only one appearance last season (20/21) as a substitute. Played under 2mins of Football.

Well, this season he starts Reading's first game of the 21/22 season and his side currently trail 2-1 away at Stoke. He's playing as a right wide forward/Right Winger today.

Played well in the first half, was Everton best attacker. Tailed off in the second.

Even MuTV thought he was Everton's best player full time behind only Godfrey.

But at Half Time he was the 5th trending topic on UK twitter. He's food for trolls.

You probably didn't watch. Man created Everton's two best chances in the first half.

The fact he is Nigerian means I will critique him even more.

Really interesting to see Pep start Edozie today.

And just like I strongly expected, Grealish makes the bench.

100% agree.

I think his biggest problem is confidence, as well as, too much social media.

This is a general problem with Everton: social media discipline.

Imagine last season after Pickford committed an error that didn't end in goal, his biggest worry was that it would trend to Twitter.

Perez also starts. Another time it could be Perez out, Nacho in. Barnes is not the one pairing Vardy up top. It looks like Perez.

But yes, Barnes' return was inevitable. He's key to Leicester's attack especially when they play 4-1-4-1 or morph into other formations.

Nerdy we all know that Edozie is going to play for England so no need raising our hopes on the lad

Me, I don't know.... all I know for now is that he is still eligible for both Nigeria and England. So chill. Don't discourage reports on the lad and others like him still eligible for us unless they have said they are not interested.
