I notice that the Indian police usually takes pictures with the arrested suspects. The pictures are also usually dignifying enough. I think perhaps it may be a proof of the capacities of the officers concerned and its importance as evidence for future assessment and recommendations for promotions.

If na Nigerian police, the suspects will be seated on the bare floor (in the sand) , their shirts and shoes pulled off for the males and the hair dishevelled for the females. Oh, and with massive chains or handcuffs too.
