Benue state governor Samuel Ortom has vowed not to return to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, which brought him to power in the 2015 general election, Newspremises reports.

The governor made the clarification on Monday night during a news programme on Channels TV.

Recall that there have been speculations that Ortom and other governors elected under the platform of the PDP were making moves to join the ruling party.

But Ortom, while answering questions bothering on alleged plan to dump the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, said APC has completely destroyed the country.

He said he has no reason to leave the PDP, insisting that he is comfortable with the party.

According to him, “How can I go back to APC that has completely destroyed Nigeria? I’m very comfortable with the PDP”.

Nothing is new to me anymore in this country. We are in a surprising government. What a country rule by unfortunate people.

I see Ortom handing over to kiddwaya's mum, I see her becoming the first female governor in Nigeria, I see kidwaya sharing free gotv with subscription to benue inhabitants so they can watch BBN, I see his mom encouraging Nigerians to watch BBN, I see benue overtaking Lagos in population because millions will be born.

This I have seen.

Shitty man with a shitty personality, he should focus on creating the right environment for businesses to thrive in Benue. Bad road network won't allow investors into his state, ordinary salaries he can't fully pay, this man is a perfect example of the type of people we should pray never to encounter on our way up the ladder, he's a pretender and a green snake. Benue state deserves better.
