Truth be told, the team was already going down before Messi left. Iniesta and Xavi's departures massively contributed to that. I think if anything, they should have been given the same credit with Messi, when they left. I miss those days. Imagine Barca going two seasons without a major title. That's a real bummer.

I can't forget Iniesta's goal against Chelsea in the UCL semis, and how Ovrebo robbed us of a clear penalty. That was the first and only time a football game brought tears to my eyes. Sergio B has also paid his dues, he alongside Pique will be the next to leave, I just wonder how the team will look like after that happens.

I didn't deny Messi's ability, if you go back to my first comment, I said that he is a wonderful player.

What I emphasized is that Barca revolution started with the coming of Dinho, Eto, Deco, Iniesta etc. Messi moved from youth team to senior team when the foundation has been laid already.

You mentioned Guardiola and I told you what you must know about Guardiola, Eto was in Barca 2009 when Barca defeated Man u (Eto scored in that final ok). Guardiola is in Man City and Bayern but no champions league. Ask Yaya Toure what Guardiola did to him and he will tell you. Pls don't talk about Guardiola again.

Messi is a wonderful player but outside of the foundation laid in Barca, Messi will struggle. He won everything in Barca but can I tell you about Messi in Argentina senior team? The last Copa America final goal was De Maria, Argentina have Aguero, Otamendi, Macherano etc.
