Nigerians access twitter with a vpn from another countries so twitter doesn't know that they're from Nigeria and serves them ads from those countries they're accessing from.

So essentially, twitter hasn't been making money from ads in Nigeria because there are no advertisers spending money to reach Nigerians because you can't access twitter from a Nigerian ip address.

It only exposed the stupidity of the government, especially Malami, Adamu Garba and Lai Mohammed.

The stupid government pushed Kroo nobody went for it, you can't even mention the stupid app's name on Nairaland , they pushed Crowwe and the app got removed, the court ruled that nobody can be arrested for using twitter and the opposition constantly mocked the government for it.
