My baby boy will be 8 months next week. He's crawling backward not forward. Pls kindly suggest to me healthy tips I can use to help him crawl forward.
God bless u as you responds.
Apparently, it's normal. Crawling, while good, isn't really a developmental marker cos some kids even skip Crawling totally and move to standing and walking.
Is he trying to pull himself to stand or walk? You should just focus on helping with standing.

Other mamas with experience will respond too

No tea till 1yr.
Are these the only foods she takes?

Amala and ewedu/okro with fish scattered inside
Boiled egg
Avocado cut in pieces so she can't eat herself if she's already trying to eat by herself.
Mashed Beans and plantain
Mashed Yam porridge
Mashed Sweet potatoes
Bread and Peanut butter spread
Oatmeal with milk
Yoghurt
Fruits (bananas, she can eat it herself)
Fish/chicken/beef
Etc
God will bless you for this. I have copied into my notepad. Yeah, she also takes semo and ewedu with fish. It skipped me. But that's once in a while. I'll work with this. Please what about the custard.

Hello everyone, FTM hope I am welcome. Please I need your help, my babies are 8days today currently in NICU. Was told to be expressing breastmilk 2hourly. But my problem here is that I'm not lactation well, I barely manage to pump 20-40mls. Is there anything I could take to help out...... Please
Bitterleaf Soup and drinking plenty of water after eating it have worked well for me.

Next best, is Hot Cocoa Beverage (Milo, Bournvita and their brothers)

Next : Pap.

Other things like Palmwine, Oats, Lactation cookies did little to nothing.

Congrats Ma. Your babies will be fine. At that age they dont eat much so I believe what you even express now will be okay for them. But do talk to your Dr/Nurse about the needed quantity. Cheers.

Yes ma, he loves to stand and even when I try putting him to sit, he disagrees with me. He's even trying to stand on his own by holding something for few minutes. And whenever he's sitting, he stretches his hands towards me or his cousins to pull him up so as to stand up while holding either of us.

Thanks ma

Oh praise God. I am so happy to hear this. I was so troubled, because I have a neighbor that they spoilt her daughter's leg with injection some years back. Pls if it must be IM let it be on the thigh.
Thanks so much.
I feel for that your neighbor & the innocent daughter, it will be a permanent injury in their heart. Only me can understand how I felt seeing my son limping leg, I will look at his video on my phone & get depressed while blaming myself. But I thank God it's very much better now. It is hardly notice now

Most likely infection. No worries, just make sure to see a pediatrician and it'll be sorted.

Thanks mama, I went to ENT today and eardrops was prescribed.

Hello guys,
My boy of 13 months has refused to eat anything other than breast milk. No matter how much u try to force him eat, he won't budge.

Once he saw it's pap u wanna feed him, there comes teeth locking, except u gonna hurt his gum.

At the sight of amala, he'll take to his knees with fastest speed he can muster.

Tried different baby formula same teeth locking.

Help ooo

Uwc.
Custard is very refined/processed hence doesn't have as much nutrients as pap.
You can add Augustscrets products too.

You need to use a digital thermometer to check her temperature.
Temperature above 37.5 is a fever and you can give pcm...but see a doctor if fever persists

Please don't do self medication for such a young baby, take her to the hospital for proper checkup. It might be infection.

How is she now? Hope she’s a lot better. Please have this panda paracetamol drop for infants. That’s the type for her at this age. The dosage for her is in the leaflet. Administer as a first aid while taking her to hospital once there’s a fever to temper it down. Everything going into her mouth must be clean please. If you use bottles, take extra precautions in the sterilization and handling. Wash hand thoroughly if you must put it in her mouth for whatever reason. Her immunity is still very low. I believe she already sleeps in her baby netted bed. Avoid fevers at this age. Too young. You’ve got this momma. Stay strong.

Mommies I need your help. My 2 months old baby skin was peeling. I took her to the hospital and the doctor prescribed tydineal antifungal cream. But after rubbing her it made her skin colour to be uneven. Some parts are darker, some parts light especially the face. Please how can I make the skin tone even and go back to her original skin colour.

I think with time it will blend with the rest of the body but if in a hurry,Original Vaseline blueseal is good.

You should have mix the antifungal cream with ori (shea butter), or just use vaseline.

Not quite.
Adult milk (full cream) is OK for babies above 1. Sometimes those children milk like 123 are soo sweet it makes babies stool.

Babies are funny.

My 8months old daughter will fight everytime you try to feed her. Sometimes once she sees her bib she just breaks out into a loud cry...you'd practically have to hold her down and sing plenty songs for her to eat everyother food but you see Amala and ewedu That's the only food she sits on her chair for. Infact, if you don't bring the food to her mouth quickly enough she'd drag your hands.
Now we are eating amala everyday grin grin
