I just want to make this clarification :
Can a spouse apply for a dependant visa without the children?
The plan is the spouse will travel/ joined the main applicant in the uk, while the children will apply and join the parent in another month.
This just to settle down, sought things out and acclimatized with the environment before bringing the children(3kids) in.

I think you are making an easy thing complex, unless the funds are not available yet for the children to apply. If the funds are available it may be advisable to apply for the dependants(spouse & Kids) at the same time.
Acclimatizing for a month then returning for the kids is wasting precious resources. The link sent above makes taking a child without your partner seem easy but its a bit difficult and time wasting at the point of entry.
But if the fund is not available, then you can apply alone but have an answer for why you are leaving your kids with their grandparents etc.
And there are many reasons to do so depending on the ages of the children:
1. Since you are only leaving for a year or thereabout, you don't want to disrupt their education as the system is slightly different

2. If there's any below age 3, the cost of daycare is high and the child is used to her/his grandma.

3. You don't want to expose them to the unnecessary culture shock for just a year programme
And add the clause that if at anytime the children are missing the parents, you will definitely come and pick them to be with you!

Yours will come. Its not likely many people on 6th will get collection mail yet. 4th and 5th people still dey expect.

I'm just seeing this well, did you say on the 6th? wow, while me on the 5th still dey wait, anyways every application is different and as such is treated on its own merit.

Hello Guru in the house. Curious about 2 issues:
1. I am accompany my wife and we would be applying together we had a US visit refusal in 2019 which we are going to declare. But I had a student visa refusal in 2008 ( 13 years ago) Not sure if there was biometrics at this time. My question is should I declare this, don’t even remember the reason for the refusal anymore.

2. Wife already gained unconditional admission and waiting for POF to clock 28 days to be issued CAS from institution, she submitted general IELTS when applying and the school didn’t complain. If it’s stated in her CAS as part of the document to submit for visa application won’t this be a problem? Because I am thinking For Visa they might strictly require IELTS Academics

Your study gap isn't any issue for UK VISA. And there are a lot of schools in the UK to study. I think it is your tuition budget that plays a huge role in school selection.
But why would you want to switch from Computer Science? I think it is the new oil and has a lot of job opportunities in the UK.

I have a third class, and I got several offers. As long as you have work experience and a nice personal statement, you'll get lots of offers. You can try the following schools, they all gave me admissions, even straight unconditional offers from some.

Wetin you dey yarn? You gave him a lifesaver advice by saying "19th July to 19th August is when 28 days is complete". Wetin Musa nor go see for gate. 28 days is the requirement. If you wan advise pesin you fee say leave am for 31 days. This is not about your advice. Your counting is wrong!

It has worked for some people and dependants get their visas at the same time as primary applicant who did priority.

However biometrics should all be done same time, meaning you may have to do walk in.
Because if the dependants submit later than you, theirs may follow standard working days.

So Why is ours different o. Main applicant has gotten hers (priority), it's 3 days past, the dependant own is still at DMC. We did walk in same time, did biometric immediately after the main applicant. Please, how many days more should we wait for the dependent's or will it follow a normal standard days. The wait is something else
