They are two different groups . Just that the latter came out ( by selection/rapture/resurrection) from the former . Eg you live in this world (age) as a human . But as a Christian , you are not of this world though you live in it (eat, sleep, shit ,……MARRY). So even though a Christian will die in this world , he is alive in Christ . John 3:16.

I live in this world but I am not of this world. So when Jesus Christ called the one group, "Children of this world", He was not referring to those who are worthy of Him and His Kingdom.

They are instead of the second group mentioned in verse 35

You seem stuck on the mention of the word "resurrection" forgetting that it is used to reference the future of those of the second group and not their current or present.

The context of the passage and Jesus’s answer was the question of Moses’s laws regarding remarriage and the afterlife . His response was simply there is no Marriage in the afterlife for God’s children EVEN though people( both christians and non-christians) will marry in this world . The Sadducees question was very tactical . They asked this,”MR A marries Miss B . MR A dies without kids and MRS B married One of Mr A’s 6 brothers Mr C ( this was permissible under Moses’s laws) ,then Mr C dies and Mrs C ( nee Mrs B) marries the next brother . This goes on until all the brother dies and the woman dies . Perchance all of them are resurrected , who will be the woman’s hubby ? “ Jesus simply said there is no marriage in heaven .
When Christian say till death do us apart , it means that contract btw spouses and God ceases once a spouse dies . So even if both are resurrected after death they are no longer husband and wife .

After the curse came in however, woman was cursed, condemned by God to be ruled over by man and perish in the end - cease to exist / return to dust when she dies!

However, through Jesus Christ all who believe in Him, including women, are saved from this condemning curse(all those who live under the curse perish much like Adam), and are made equal members of the Kingdom of God.

There are instructions in bible regarding marriage . There is a reason God gave us laws and instructions for living in this world . He also gave instructions for Marriage while we are on earth . If we follow God’s instructions regarding marriage on earth (Husband’s love your wife as Jesus loves the church , wives submit to your husbands), how can we not call it “Christian marriages “ even if it doesn’t survive beyond this earth ?

God's Law to those of the New Covenant is Jesus Christ and the details of the Law is found written of in the Gospels - the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ which we are each called to accept and Obey.

Every other teaching has to be subjected to God's Law, Jesus Christ and that which does not conform, discarded.

So when Jesus Christ, God's very own Truth and Law,
says clearly that your marriages are of this world and not of His Kingdom , but some other teaching tells you otherwise, we are meant to discard those teachings as not of Him.

Jesus Christ told you in John 15 vs 14 that those who are His friends are those who do what He tells them to do.

In John 14 vs 23 - 25, He explains that those who love Him are those who obey His teachings and commandments while those who reject His teachings and commandments do not belong to Him.

So you can chose yourself all you want but if you do not do that which God commands, you don't belong to God. Jesus Christ made it even clearer in Matthew 7
That only those who do what God wants will enter into Heaven.
