The OP is very ignorant.

Do you know we have a ministry of education in Nigeria?

Do you know the billions FG, multinationals and philanthropists pumps into Nigerian education every year?

Do you know how many people gets free education in Nigeria?

If you hate BBN, switch the channel.

Maybe, you should ask him what he means by that

Some people actually think 'school na scam' because their teachers are poor compared to some other people.

They think "school na scam' because not everyone that attended school has millions while some that are not as good as their teachers towards reading and writing have millions as a result of luck.

I won't say 'school na scam' because the school was never a guarantee of an exposure to something that will make you a millionaire.

The school was never defined as an exposure to something useful towards
EVERYBODY becoming a millionaire.

If you come across what you can use to make millions, it's a matter of chance.

If you don't come across what you can use to make the millions, it's still a matter of chance.

Whether you like or not , you will require the knowledge of certain things to survive and that knowledge is either derived from school or private lessons/tutorials or one-on-one sessions because you can't be aware of the position of every necessary item which means you can't find everything you need by yourself

You will have to ask questions about what you have not seen even though it's in your environment since you have limits.

Nobody is independent of learning certain things.

you just veered off and started typing rubbish. First the issue was between bbnaija and our educational system. Secondly, what has entrepreneurship got to do with this. What has it got to do with corruption. The problem is our value system. Patricia invested 2billion naira in bbnaija. What stops patricia from sponsoring educative programs. What stops our governors, house of reps, senators, house of assembly members from sponsoring educative programs. What stops the likes of obi cubana from doing same. No. We only exalt porn and useless things. Were you not part of those who contributed money for previous bbnaija via sms votes? How have you encouraged education in your own little way. By being fans of participants in a useless show, are you not giving unnecessary support for a useless venture? Yet you will come out and blame the president. It's our value system. How many parents ban their kids and wards from staying glued to the T.V wasting productive time watching this nonsense?

U think say e easy to sell an idea to millions of people. The producers of BBN are intellectuals. Let the graduate come up with a mind blowing invention or startup, lots of people will invest. Because u get first class no mean say make them dash you 30million. How many problems your first class solve? When you come out with a first class and do a project or research that solves a major problem then you can now start asking of that

My concern is that all these agitations stop the moment BBN stops. It seems the program controls the agitators.

If we must make headway in ensuring educational programs are brought back, the discussion must go beyond BBN, else we are just antagonising the program.

This yearly topic is back again grin. Well, I may not watch the show but I know that someone is becoming a millionaire while others gain fame.

Does the show belong to the FG of Nigeria? Besides, BBN is not a political election where everybody is expected to appear. If you don't like any TV show or series, do well to give what you like your attention.

Like Naija, like its people! Dem go leave the needful dey chase clouts all around. Is Big Brother Show organized only in Naija? Over this show, how many people of those countries cry like you do?

Let's discuss this fam

What is the BB Naija doing right that the educational system is doing wrong

How come the entertainment industry is doing their work so well that the education system is not really showing the beauty of education

How can we get huge grant outside the country and our best heads look up to the uneducated for help

The politicians, doctors, lawyers, engineers, pilots, nurses needs one qualification or the other to show that they are ideal for the post

Which means they all passed through a teacher but teachers are the least paid undecided

Immoral shows like BBNAIJA gets sponsors why can't the best graduating student not get a car or a home to make people value education the more

Why What could be done Who is to do what And when can it be done

They'll tell you to shut up and let people live, then when they see their counterparts abroad thriving, they'll say we only do well outside.

Lol check where your focus lies as a people. 80 percent of the issues in Nigeria are self inflicted.

What we need are more private investors going into the education sector, of course not only investing in its infrastructure but on its contents. BBN is a marketing vehicle for big corporations who invest OpEx on the show as sponsors in order to improve brand equity, this investors are investing in content...... Now the problem is that most TV views comes from youths who naturally are drawn to social shows due to mind programming of glam, and of course the older population are may be concerned with educational shows don't spend much time watching TV shows, when they do, They prefer news channels. Target market is the problem I see here. If an investor can take the risky investment of providing 200 million naira as price money in an educational show, Then we might get the attention of the social viewers(Youths), it's still a gamble anyways.

Here is how money making works.

The more people you make happy or smile, the more money you'll make.

The less people you make happy or smile, the less money you'll make.

When I was in the uni, I had a distinction. Who did my distinction make happy or smile? Just me, my family members, the lectures, and the head of the school. The rest were not happy. They were angry and jealous.

Years later, I wrote some dating books and one of them is called Lasticle.

It helps men who can't last long in bed learn and master how to last as long as they want in bed and satisfy their wives naturally and without drugs.

It works and has never failed. Guess what? Hundreds of men have bought the book and even though I told them to return it and get their money back if it doesn't fulfil its promises, but none came back to ask for their money back.

Yes, they do come back, but only to shower me (the author) praises on how their lives have changed for good in the bedroom and how their wives are praising them now and everyone is happy.

The lesson here is: It's not by school and grade, but the number of people you put a smile on their faces.

BBNaija makes millions happy and kill their boredom, but your degree only made you and your family happy, and the rest of the world does not care.

If you want to make money, make more people happy — not just yourself and your family.

If you're a doctor, you only made yourself and your family happy, but if you invent the cure for cancer, HIV, Chinese virus, heal people, etc. you've made the world happy and they'll reward you with millions, if not billions of Dollar.

Everyone or company gets rewarded based on the number of people they made happy be it immorally or morally.

A pastor that doesn't heal people won't be as rich or popular as one that does.

Happiness is emotion and everyone has it. Trigger that emotion and you shall be rich or wealthy.

A dropout student who became a comedian (someone who makes others happy) will make more money than his friend that is a doctor, but hasn't invented any medicine or cure at least, 10,000 patients.

This comedian has made more than a million happy, but the doctor hasn't made up to 10,000 people happy.

P.S:

For the people interested in the Lasticle book, search for it on Google and download the free version.

It's only gonna happen when the educational sector attracts a high profit.
Businesses and industries differ and attract investment based on the amount of sustainable profit they can yield over time.

Until the educational sector is admired as a profit Centre and also hyped into that, it won't compete with the entertainment sector.

Brands will only approach what is appreciated and wanted, that's the point sponsors come in, but before then, you need to be admired ahead first.
