shams040:Assalamu alaykum akhi. You need to make the right choice. Either you want USA or Canada. I know of a PhD man that was in your situation. He left Naija for USA for his PhD studies but his Canada visa was approved when he was in the USA. He had to abandon Canada and focused on USA. U just need to make the right choice |

SweetJJ:Review Required -means the case analyst has flagged an item for review based on the documents submitted on file, which would need a more thorough investigation. This is concluded on time for some applicants, while others may take longer depending on the item or documents flagged. That is why sometimes applicants are asked to send an updated bank statement (not necessarily an NSE request) or provide another copy of a particular document submitted or might be an employer they want to contact directly. Recommend Interview - means a Case Analyst has reviewed the documents on file, specifically every item based on criteria for eligibility. They put their comments and pass them on to a Senior Officer who is always very experienced for a secondary review and final verdict (Approval or Refusal). The comments of this senior or experienced officer are always noted close to the last page of the GCMS note. |

So I'm a recent graduate of business education (bsc.ed) with a 4.33CGPA, no professional work experience yet as I'm currently serving (NYSC), I'm planning to apply for the fall 2022 on or before September this year. But, I'm a bit confused on the choice of masters program. Studying education in my bachelor's wasn't intentional and now I'm looking at masters of management, is there any correlation between the two? What degree path wouldn't be questioned by the visa officers as i'm a recent graduate with no experience? I would really appreciate your opinions on this |

atiteb4:Canada is better because my brother that left since 2008 for PHD with full scholarship just became a citizen after close to 14years. Whilst Canada , if the spouse gets a job , pR can be possible without waiting till the end of the studies. Citizenship within 5yrs. He can cross over to US easily for jobs too. You can check out dr Adeola olubamiji on Instagram. That's what she did. |

| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Lekiboboe: 11:30am On Aug 15, 2021 |
fogechi:You are welcome Honorable. Try to give your response more clarity cos you just mentioned something new which you didn't mention in your last post. You said "I have been away for too long but I have masters in Information technology (I.T)". You had your Masters in I.T in what year (To address Study Gap)? What's the name of your Job & Job description in the bank? Is it in anyway related to Cybersecurity? Why PG. Cert in Cybercurity? The essence of all of these is to prevent a Visa Officer from having unnecessary assumptions when they are processing your submitted study visa application. Academic Progression and Career Progression is very important |
