Soldiers trained for 20 years can’t hold the countries together, and the people didn’t join the government forces to oust the Taliban?? It shows two things;

1) It’s what the people want
2) You always pay the consequences of being inept at any thing, even in government.

Biden made the right choice, USA can’t keep fighting a forever war. As long as they keep foreign jihadists out, they can have sharia. Saudi Arabia has sharia, so it’s a free world, just keep the sharia within your borders.

The USSR trained Afghan forces hold up for 2 years after USSR withdraw and those Afghan forces put up a good fight even when the the USA and her allies were supporting the Mujahideen with heavy weapons.

Afghanistan was peaceful, till American invaded their and installed their military and government in a sovereign state of Afghanistan. 20yrs later the right owners have reclaimed their territory. Same thing Libya is suffering till date, after the unjust assassination of Gaddafi sponsored by American.
Talibans are not terrorist. They ar the right owner of Afghanistan before America invasion.

i wish you could spare few minutes of your tight schedule and study free online resources about the war-on-terror especially in Afghanistan. The global terrorism that has even come down on us in Nigeria here all could be traced to this 20years of a choice between Light and Darkness; Freedom and Neo-Slavery; the war was so much complex that at a point, Americans were fighting the Talibans, the Civilian shields and even Afghan Politicians who thought that Afghans could not make this hard choice: The Talibans were simply currying Sympathy for themselves against "American Invaders" and winning their hearts.
Actually, it was Afghans that lost and not America.
All lovers of Freedom and Liberation from the shackles of extreme Islam lost this war.
