If you are in Lagos please stay away from ikoyi command.....I repeat stay away from ikoyi command o....if you are in a hurry or you have an appointment at the embassy or vfs already....I am regretting everything I swear....nah I no dey hear word do me...I won't want what am experiencing for anybody to experience it here....go to alausa or festac....but STAY AWAY FROM IKOYI COMMAND!!!!

My brother/sister me am tired o.....I swear I don't even know what's going on again I swear....it isn't DIY o....and it's was renewal o.....that old passport was suppose to expire this august and nah passport wey I done use before like twice.....I done tire....the immigration officer I gave the work to dey just dey use me play...dey tell me say it's not ready....I have gone to check twice same thing.....hoping to find time and go this week again...i swear I regret stepping my feet in ikoyi again even tho nah there I for do the old passport wey dey expire so.

PH office is a cesspool of corruption, so going the DIY route is frustrating, tiring and for those in no hurry. Renewal takes 3wks (official statement) but be prepared to wait a month plus for DIY and u must pay commitment fee or else your file will be left unattended. Express cost between 50-70k (all passport) and can be gotten within 72hrs after capturing. Speaking from my experience.

Hello guys, I just came back from Ibadan Immigration Office.

I met two officers, the first one said 28k and it will take 6 weeks(but can be longer) as they are not getting enough materials from government. She told me they bring passport material from Malaysia, I was shocked to hear that though.

There second officer said it will take Up to 6 weeks but I will pay 30k, but if you want express, it's 70k and you will get it within 1 week max.

They are so attending to DIY applicants but it will still follow the normal process/queue, except you have someone to follow up for you to hasten the process..

2 passport photographs
Your expired passport
A letter to the comptroller General CGI Muhammad Babandede MFR requesting for a passport reissue

A photocopy of your expired page( data page and the last page)
A photocopy of your payment receipt
Your NIN slip

Take all this documents to your selected passport office

Go straight to the servicom desk, they will direct you to the officer in charge of submission, a 3 pages form will be provided for you to photocopy and fill.

A file will be created for you, after vetting you will be called for capturing.

For renewal/reissue

It’s really a straightforward letter

The address of the comptroller general on the top left while your home address on the top right

Introduce yourself using your passport details, state your address and occupation, NIN number, application number. State the purpose of the letter( the type of passport you applied for, 64 pages, 10 32pages and duration.
