Abi no be this same phone people dey complain say e dey off and no dey come on again? undecided

Have been using this phone since February and no issues so far...

If a person or two complained about something, that means the product is bad?

I was scared at buying the phone before because of their complains. But I later realize that no product doesn't have bad reviews

Greeting xiaomi family! Great job to y'all keeping the group alive.

I've just been going thru some junk I kept out of sight a long time ago and found the cases below with tempered glass. They were meant for my supposedly first Xiaomi Phone (Redmi Note 5 AI). Unfortunately, the phone never arrived.

Willing to give the 2 TPU cases & 2 tempered glasses to anyone still using the sleek phone I once "fell in love" with, around Uyo-Calabar, PH. Call or Whatsapp me on

One love people!

The reason I enter this journey of unlocking bootloader and flashing custom roms was because every app I touched on the Mi 9T freezes the phone and ultimately restarts the phone. I was on stable miui 12.0.9.0 before all this wahala started. I couldn't dial a number and it didn't even notify me of those who were calling me.
You should be ok with Xiaomi.eu roms, still wondering why you had to go for Pixel experience. You'll get the least bugs with miui based roms.

Welcome bro, I'm considering getting this phone over the weekend, how's the user experience so far?

It was what I was expecting, display might not be the topnotch I was expecting maybe because I am on dark mode oh, I just changed it ,but camera works better in well lit area, but all a smooth experience. Being making my friends jealous.

To add join, I have upgraded to Miui 12 on Redmi 9c and no problems, just advice you to go for the 3GB Ram 64GB ROM, for better smooth experience

Download update file manually with a download manager and install.

https://bigota.d.miui.com/V12.0.4.0.RJWMIXM/miui_CURTANAGlobal_V12.0.4.0.RJWMIXM_9788084253_11.0.zip

How to manually update..

Go to Settings > About phone > System update.

If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11/12 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 11/12 update file

That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins

Data should be on during the decryption process
