Any Yoruba Muslim who stupidly thinks they're one with Hausas and Fulanis because of religion, or advocate for Sharia in Yorubaland will have to go to the North to enjoy Sharia with their Hausa and Fulani Muslim brethren. There will be no such nonsense in Yorubaland. How can any reasonable person look at Sharia-loving Islamic extremism-ridden hell-holes like Northern Nigeria and Afghanistan and decide it's that kind of utterly backwards lifestyle you want for yourself? And I'm writing this as one whose parents are Muslims. I'm an atheist though.

Let me help you to some extent. What did you think happened between the ESN and the Nigerian army? Boko haram and the affected communities, Fulani herdsmen... Southern Kaduna, some parts of Niger, Plateau...? We are living by grace and if nothing is done and these trends continue, this country would in no time, implode, especially because there are a lot of quarters that are in support of this and lowkey fuelling it( don't ask me who these people are). As an extra trip, please run a google check on this issue. Streamline it nairaland and our national dailies. "Call for war nairaland" " war daily tribune"... Etc .

What's the UN doing about it? A legitimate government was sacked and the UN hasn't issued a strong statement to condemn it. At times, this is why the UN is viewed in many quarters, possibly, no less by someone like me, as a lame duck, a kind of gutless organisation.
The immediate solution to the Afghanistan problem is to isolate the regime politically, economically, militarily -this may be difficult - and diplomatically. The regime should be gagged from all sides until it succumbs to these external pressures.

I don't support conflicts as well but common sense would make you not to mix coca cola, milk, orange and mango juice as one drink and drink it down. Of course, na your belle go tell you. See ba, the only place the west did well was Korea. Because when you occupy a country and introduce your norm to them, then you retain the border and let the other half of the country contain people without your influence.
Another example, refer to Hong Kong riots v China as the latter wants to integrate. Had Afghanistan been divided into parts, I don't think there would be a refugee crisis like we are seeing.

My questions are why did the Afgan forces/Govt easily relinquish power to Taliban without resistance, did they do enough to prevent this mess, what have the Afgan forces learnt from the US all through their twenty years of training and financial assistance, should the Americans and other foreign allies continues to make sacrifices that the Afgan people (Govt/forces) are not willing to make for themselves, did it never occur to them that they will be left alone after sometime? Please I will like to have answers to the above questions.
