I think it's a misconception to think that the whole of the country wants Islamic rule. There are dissents, supporters and members of the deposed government. In twenty years, most Afghanistanis had developed a liberal approach to life; not to talk of the youthful population who were not exposed to Taliban terror reign of the past. These people cannot feel secured in a Taliban run government, despite assurances to the contrary. They will want to seek every means to escape.
