I don't care about your opinions or how my opinions affect you or anybody. I am basically laying out what I do and telling everyone who cares to listen that if I can do it, they can. I don't expect you to understand my posts. You drive as a gig, I drive full-time with a goal in mind. You see it as just there, I see it as a sector like hospitality management. You manage people in a particular way to ensure continuity.

You can afford to not drive. You can behave as you like on the platform under the guise of dignity cos the gig is beneath you. It's not the same for me. I'm taking notes and compiling loopholes of everything wrong with the present system of ehailing with the aim of doing something about it. You don't care. You're on another career path.

We are parallels and that's fine. Your mentality about this has been noted by me, and I already used it to achieve an aim. This respect thing is taken too far by drivers driving basic dirty and rickety cars, but that's a conversation for another day.

It's always easy to compare to the UK without acknowledging that they have a better working system over there where there is a better standard of living, and accountability.

It's funny you think that a driver who makes 150k a week can easily adjust when he's banned. It exposes the level of your knowledge about ehailing. Oga, without e-hailing platforms, people will move around. And yes, riders must go to a bus stop for pickup in an event that unforeseen circumstances to bolt or uber. E-hailing platforms are there for providing comfort or luxury, not that they are a necessity. Drivers and their cars are the necessity.

Nigeria isn't the U.K, yes but does that mean I should transport 3 or more passengers on a #350 trip? Does that mean a driver's fate should be allowed to dependent largely on the ratings of riders? Do you forbid enjoying a better standard of living? Do you think these companies will just provide it to you if you ain't ready to fight for it? That's some of the points from the UK judgement and in this aspect, Nigeria does not need to have an improved standard of living comparable to the UK before e-hailing platforms improve their packages to drivers.

Whether full-time or part-time driving, Remember that we came to life empty-handed and will leave the same way. Know your position in life and push to attain reasonable heights but at the end of the day, you'll realize that all our hustle, goals and contentment is bvllshits.
