Who are Terrorist Group?
A terrorist group is a group of persons who use unlawful
violence and intimidation, especially against civilians,
in pursuit of political goal. The act of terrorism is one of
the most dangerous challenges that has continued to
threaten peace, unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of
many countries today. This ugly practice has eaten up the
peace in different parts of the world through killings,
kidnapping, bombing and destruction of properties.
You must have read about the recent act of terrorism in
Afghanistan, where Taliban took over the country, and the
Afghan president and some other citizens of the country
fled to another country for safety. That is a good example
of what terrorism can leave out anywhere it finds itself.
Though, Taliban is currently trending due to their recent
action against Afghanistan, it’s important to know they are
not the only deadly terrorist group in the world.

world:

1.TALIBAN

The Taliban, (refers to itself as the Islamic Emirate of
Afghanistan), is a Deobandi Islamist movement.
They were removed from power in Afghanistan by US led
coalition forces in 2001. After 20 years, the group has
seized control of the country once again following a rapid
military offensive.

2. ISIS

ISIS, also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the
Levant, is a heavily armed group and former unrecognized
proto-state that follows a Salafi jihadist doctrine. ISIS is a
deadly terrorist organization that terrorises Syria, and many
other countries of the world.

3.BOKO HARAM

Boko Haram, which ranked the 3rd deadliest group in the
world, is a terrorist group based in the northeastern part of
Nigeria. The group also actively operates in Chad, Niger
and northern Cameroon. In 2016, the group split, resulting
in the emergence of a hostile faction known as the Islamic
State of West Africa Province. The group is affiliated with
ISIS.

4.AL-SHABAAB

This terrorist group is an Islamic jihadist fundamentalist
militant group based in East Africa and Yemen. Ahmed
Abdi Godane, the leader of the group, imposed a ban on
the UN World Food Programme and Western Agencies in
Somalia in 2009.

5.FULANI HERDSMEN

Fulani herdsmen are nomadic Fulani people whose primary
occupation is raising livestock. Just like Boko Haram, this
group operates in the Western Africa and has killed many
people across Nigeria. Please note that not all the Fulani
herdsmen are extremists. There are peaceful ones
amongst them.

6.MAOISTS

The group is regarded as a “left-wing extremist entity” and
a terrorist outfit by the Indian government. They operate in
India and Nepal.

7.AL-QUAIDA

This is a militant Sunni Islamist multi-national group,
which is being regarded as terrorist. It was founded by
Osama bin Laden, Abdullah Azzam, and several other Arab
volunteers in 1988 during the Soviet Afghan War. Al-Qaeda
operates as a network of Islamic extremists and Salafist.

8.DONETSK PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC

The People’s Republic is a self-proclaimed proto-state in
the eastern Ukrainian oblast of Donetsk. Only the partially
recognised South Ossetia and the Russian backed proto
state Luhansk People’s Republic recognise the proto state.
The capital city and largest city within the DPR is Donetsk.

9.ABU SAYYAF

This is popularly known as ISIL, an Islamic State East Asia
Province. This group is a Jihadist militant and pirate group
that that follows the Wahhabi doctrine of Sunni Islam. This
Terrorist group has continued to threaten the territorial
integrity of Malaysia and Philippines.

10.supporter of APC

The supporter of APC Terriost organization terrorise people living
in Sudan. They have continued to threaten life, peace in
Susan.
