The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has said Big Brother Naija Lockdown housemate, Dorathy Bachor, lied that she was at home when the anti-graft operatives broke into her residence in the Lekki area of Lagos State.

EFCC in a statement on Monday also said “nine alleged internet fraud suspects were apprehended in the block of flats housing Ms. Bachor’s apartment”.

Imo efcc should have arrested that sister that refused entry, I'm like the No1 critic of this government but that doesn't mean things shouldn't be done in the right manner, in any part of the world, officials come to your home and identify themselves and you refused to open then they have every right to knock down the damn door. Now they arrested 9 fraudsters from the same building. Honestly efcc should have arrested that girl and make her face the full wrath of the law. I don't stand for nonsense. I didn't insinuate anywhere they arrested the scammers in her flat.
But as she rightly noted she has got a highly gullible audience that would believe her without thought,she must have said to herself "I would shine with this efcc today" and carried the case on her "head",thought of what to do to make it look more appealing and promptly appeared semi nude and claimed same.
I am quite familiar with the average Nigerian in power or with any kind of influence and I can tell how to almost 85% how they would behave,the lies they concoct and their acting for a gullible followership

1. On your part as an individual: In Nigeria, you hear a knock on your door by 4 am, and you rush to open the door?

2. On the part of EFCC: You say they have intelligence, right? As it is in all parts of the world, that intelligence must include the crime committed by the individual, the date and time the crime was committed, and weight of the crime (the amount involved in the case of financial crimes). Without these, no judge would issue you a warrant.

Have ever seen an EFCC raid report that has those information? Those information tells you that there's a crime ab initio. Not just a random harasment.

You only see those information in high-profile cases requested by Interpol or FBI. Then, you see EFCC post notice of wanted individuals with those information for each person.

This tells you that what they do in their local raids is illegal. You don't just randomly invade someone's place and say they're fraudsters without telling us what they did. As a law-abiding citizen, you must not support illegality in any form and from anyone!

Well at least they got her name right even when she herself doesn't.

There is nowhere in the world you arrest a cyber criminal by breaking down properties.
They are duely monitored and evidence gotten to nail them beyond reasonable doubt. They won't even know they are being trailed.






What if something incriminating is not found?
By now, EFCC should be tendering apologies while pledging to repair damages. Professionals don't give silly excuses. Just say "we are sorry the innocents were affected while our officers were trying to do their job. We regret to appear this unprofessional".

There was a time I was staying in a posh area, the indigenes hated my landlord because he was very wealthy, they snitched on him that he was a kidnapper to get him killed by the military. They arrested him, that day wasn't funny, if you don't have a strong corporate Id card, you are gone.

They will see area where every young man drives a nice car and lives a soft life, envy no go gree them.

At last, the man no do anything. This was after weeks of monitoring innocent people who were slapped and booted durng the arrest.
