I'm an HND holder(animal production) and planning to dive into the IT world (cyber security) but after reading the article yesterday I'm beginning to have doubts about whether to go for cyber security or a top-up degree.

Pls all advise are welcome

I be OND holder like this but like seriously I dey feel so ashamed to talk say I get that result for where my niggas wey graduate via university for dey yan....I no just like HND,if not I for grad tay tay...

No be say HND na bad result,but our people mentality for here go make you think say na big mistake you make by attending poly at all..

Friend of mine chose CS instead of a top up degree in the USA.

Bro... This new horizon... Their fees are too bogus for the services they offer...they are all about the money....more than half of what they'll teach you are basic computer knowledge... Bro just go for a degree top-up abeg or look out for better IT firm for your sojourn into the IT world... Just my two cents tho

The fee is too much, go in search for other firms with same capacity but lower budget

Is there a constraint that limits you from pursuing the two ? if there is, then it is Cyber securities. B.sc is important but what's more important is your discipline. There are more opportunities in Cyber securities compared to Animal Production but if you have passion for Animal Production it also have a valuable opportunities if you're good at what you do that's why i said you must have passion for it cos you may get tired for lack of capital and investors if you lack passion for it, but with endurance focus and dedication you can make something big out of Animal Production also
