U made this post just to point out the group he belongs... grin
You, which group do u belong?
We r trying very hard to abate and diminish tension and unify one another; not create factions and groups.
It's okay to have different views and opinions on certain issues but not varying groups that will always oppose each other no matter the subject. What grouping will do is even when someone is doing well in d other group u will not rejoice with the person but u will rejoice when something bad happens. That has already happened this morning and should not be encouraged.
I like it when people oppose my views, they challenge my thinking and I learn more , it also helps me see from another perspective, but that not withstanding, we r all 'friends', we respect each other and we will still laugh and share moments. We can disagree again the next second but just on the particular subject not a perpetual this group VS this group kind of thing. This is for me and I sincerely hope that's how everybody is.
Sorry to say but this your post was pointless.

In this thread ehn I tend to learn from every body, be u hoodlum or ant oooo
Just try they pass knowledge.
Share Ur knowledge for it is the only way to achieve immortality

You can simply state your points without insulting anyone. If There's an opinion in contrast to yours, it's maturity on your part to state your facts and move on.

Groups are formed when there's a similar ideology. It's left for you to defend what you believe in. This doesn't mean I should disrespect those opposing my views, either in words or actions.

I don't oppose or challenge logical and factual views. If you made sense with your statements and I relate to the facts, no problem. But if it Makes no sense to me, there's no need for me to insult you simply because you views ain't in tandem with mine.

Statements like the bolded are reasons why we have issues on this thread. For the very sanity of thread, don't use such words in your mentions when quoting me. If you don't like my views, simply point out the mistakes and move on.

Peace.

And that is exactly what I did...Pointing out my view. I didn't insult u. But sorry if u felt insulted.
U can't defend that previous post of yours on any grounds, it just metamophorsed on its own without any bearing or reference.

Neither was anyone ordained to be the Antagonist, creating problems were there's basically none.

That reply was in response to the man/guy who asked a simple but common issue that has popped up several times here but in different ways. Whatever his decision, it's none of my business. But he wanted to know the correlation between his situation and the rift and I think he gets the message.

No hard feelings Mr Johnny.

Mr Barb, Very sorry for your current situation. Be smart about it and you'd get your car back. Let me summarize the rift.

Clearly, you must have seen some dashboard screenshots of some drivers here. To them, it's a move to encourage others that it's possible to make certain figures per month( a position you've subscribed too) and which has never been an issue in my opinion. To this Group 1, emphasis is solely on the figures on the dashboard, with the idea that people should work hard. Anyone performing lower is termed lazy.

But another Group2 ( also made up of some subgroups with ideas not really in contrast to the major group) believes that specific amount made or displayed on that dashboard (200k,300k,or 400k) isn't the net income. Meaning you must have made expenses which you haven't deducted from that 200-400k. To this group, the actual profit is derived when you deduct these expenses and you're left with whatever. This group believes that detailed information should be provided in other to give new drivers and partners, a complete idea of what is involved in e-hailing.

Now, this is were you come in. Group 2 says that issues like yours won't be stated by members of Group 1. It's not deducted from the dashboard screenshots you see.

N. B, there were other issues promoted by different individuals(groups) but these are the two main groups here and your statements already shows were you belong.

Peace.

Please try to avoid whatever would make you face the Lagos court, no matter the traffic offence committed, come on this forum to seek help immediately to avoid regretting later, now if caught you either pay 70-250k or loose your car .. This forum shouldn't just be for dashboards fight, a single call from an uncle, a friend, a colleague, can help people out here, let's do better abeg, the daily dashboard argument is becoming tiring, drivers as well should take note of all traffic rules, dont say you have someone somewhere who would help you, the highest i have paid for plying a one way route is 1k, and it was cos the lane is time based, i paid that amount cos of my i.d, abeg we are out for what to eat, may we not meet what would eat us... Peace....

To anyone who might want to ask why i would pay 1k even after having an i.d, may you never meet someone who would enforce the law on you at full length, cos that day you would understand the phrase " NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW".

*Important*

This is to inform those driving that Vehicles moving from IYANA ISOLO towards OSHODI through the service lane are no longer allowed.

The service lane has been declared ONE WAY from ASWANI JUNCTION towards DHL with effect from today August 24, 2021.

All vehicles going towards Oshodi should pass through Aswani / Emzor way.

Note that there's, NO SIGN DISPLAY to indicate its ONE WAY.

Please avoid been arrested by Law Enforcement Agents.

~~curled~~

So I guess its now official...Not permissible again.

To be clear: Iyana-Isolo towards Oshodi on the Aswani or Cway or DHL service lane is no longer two way traffic. It's now prohibited to drive one-way. So if u r coming from Iyana Isolo and going to airport road or Oshodi branch left into Aswani and connect Osolo way and burst out in 7&8 Bustop and continue your journey.
This way u will never fall prey by climbing the bridge and making that sharp left only to be stopped and milked by the MIB.

Thanks boss, this is the kind of information needed not dashboard argument all the time.

On the issue on one way on the oshodi express from asuani junction to DHL HQ, the commercial buses driver just informed me that it has been cancelled, all commercial buses from mile2 stopped working yesterday 24th reason given was that they can't go though ajao traffic link bolade oshodi when the main express that climb bridge to airport has been blocked. As of now that I speak the one way has been cancelled by the local government, don't fall mugu to task force. As at today task force & towing van has been ordered to vacate the place.

It's easier for a cow to pass thru the eye of a needle than for dashboard postings to stop. If dashboard posting is causing bad blood and making you insecure, you should seek immediate psychological evaluation to deal with your insecurities. cool

The guy driving the Lexus in my front almost came down to slap him. grin

That guy is obviously a danfo driver that got a white collar job.

No sense at all grin

On that same rd I was descending from that Jibowu long bridge one night ard 8pm, a BRT was parked loading passengers and a Siena was right behind it and about 50meters away in front of me... I was doing I think abt 40/50kmh. the next thing this Siena bus just suddenly entered my front without even looking thank God the road covet is very low and nobody was trying to cross that was how I quickly swaved unto the road separation section o not knowing there is a decommissioned wooden pole on the ground, my car ran into it and I quickly returned back to the expr rd.

I just park at the middle of the road, unlock car came down with speed towards the siena... On getting to the car it was a woman that was driving... Menh... e just b like them pour cold water for my body... The Next thing I did was use my two hands do whaka on her face touching her on the face. Men... I was mad that day.

To add to it the stupid man (guess her husband) who was seating in front then said, what are you driving are you mad Na the 3 female riders I carry hold me that day I if not I for beat person husband/papa that night.

People just drive without sense in this country.

And one thing most drivers in Lagos believe is that so long they're in front they believe anybody that hits them behind is the one at fault. Some times I just look at them and smile.

I recall u shared one experience like that but to be honest I didn't understand ur description.

Someone else gave a description of turning left into Akilo from cameron at a traffic light...as I type this, I still cannot imagine any left turn into Akilo that has traffic light.

1million people will still fall prey even after reading those posts.
Don't stop sharing experiences if u have one and let's try to make the description as clear as possible.

My brother that particular description is hard I must be honest.

Ok let me try again.

Now, 1st pics coming from Oshodi towards the airport.

2nd pics, pay attention to that red curve line immediately after the water(canal water) in blue. That red line is a slope that can can take one unto the bridge or down and also leads to the airport road.

Talking of the right lane now not the left.

That red line leads back to the airport road. Thats the road I'm talking about.

A bus coming from Mile 2 has no business with the service lane at the other end of the road, unless those going to Bolade, which is not common

The buses that ply this particular route are those coming from Ikotun, heading to Oshodi.

I think this is false sha. Everybody should just avoid wahala.

Good days guys...Pleas read and advice me

i am the guy that said i will be travelling to lagos to meet with the person processing my drivers license and other vehicle papper...for those who may be seeing this for the 1st time , i posted that i needed to do license and someone called me from here , we talked for a long time and chatted on whatsapp ,he assured me that he is into helping people get new drivers license and he is not a scam , he cleared all my doubt , this is happening around middle of july....i sent him money , so after much delay and argument between both of us ,he asked me to come to lagos for capturing which i posted here and many folks here asked me to go to lagos 1st ...i went to lagos and called him, after many calls he picked my call and asked me to wait at the roadsafty office that someone will come and attend to me by 10, i waited till 5pm i didn't see anyone , then the roadsafty officials were feeling pity for me ,so when i called him to speak with one of the official at least to either give me the number of the person that i am waiting for or tell them (the roadsafty officials) the person name since they all work in the same office he cut the call... so i waited till evening no show from him,i left that Thursday since i don't have much money with me, i slept in an uncompleted building at Mowe...i was in that building throughout friday trying his number and the number was not going through , so friday evening i left with a night bus going to East , we where at Ijebuode when his call entered my phone .....He told me that the only thing he will assure me is that if he did not do the drivers license that i will be getting my money back, that i should calm down by monday he will call me ...Monday passed and he did not call as promised ,but he sent a text that i should not start doing another drivers license implying that there is still hope in the one he is doing .... Yesterday i sent him a text telling him that i can wait but he must tell me his facebook name so i can send him request ,at least i can know who i am doing something with, he ignored that part.......Today again he send me a text telling me that i should give him this week,if i don't get my money i should ask for refund......why i am posting this stuff here is for you guys to advice me ,i don't really want to start posting someone private details here, because i still feel he is genuine but failure to give me his facebook name is clearing some doupt in me that this is Scam. i know you will read this too because you saw the last one i posted and we talked about it , meaning you will see this one too , what is your facebook name ..and if you are advising pleas also be aware that he will read it thanks ....
