This is not true. Taliban killed some US officers just before Trump went ahead with the deal with the Taliban. Despite the killing, Trump still went ahead with the deal. I read it a few days ago. I will try and see if I can find the link.

What I was defending in Enuguranger's post is that US soldiers were indeed killed in 2020. 2 were killed in February 2020, 3 weeks before Trump signed the deal (which HR McMaster is now referring to as a surrender to the Taliban).

Remember that you said for over a year or two. The two is incorrect.
