We are talking about military operations here not some primary school excursion, even commitments were already made, withdrawals already set in place even with a deadline only for Biden to extend, Trump himself said the process couldn't be stopped.

Biden could not stop the withdrawals without serious political backlash for himself and his party. President Trump had already primed the US electorate to reject US troops getting involved in overseas conflicts, just like he had primed many US citizens against immigration - both legal and illegal. Biden reversing the Pentagon's order to withdraw all US troops by may 31 by sending thousands of troops back would have been political suicide.

I have not located the reporting that Biden stopped close air support to afghan army before baghram departure making the afghan army demoralized.
Taliban has never had any airforce and they use attrition to exact casualties. If the locals were not supportive of the jihadists It would be easy to rout them .
Lets not forget they have had support from Pakistan. Over winter they have always ran away to Pakistan and resume their summer offensive the following year. With no external support , their bullets would have run out 20 years ago.
So yes, Pakistan support them and their locals dont want the national army.
Those are factors Biden would know and have no problem calling out the Pakis. I think Trump had threatened to cut off Paki aid.

Not only that, the deal involved commitment from USA allies too who were also pulling out their soldiers, the commitment to withdraw from Afghanistan wasn't only for USA it involved its allies too, Biden cant just wake up and make a reversal, these guys think we are talking about primary school excursion.
