A Business Lesson In The Signing Of C. Ronaldo By Manchester United by isoh(op): 8:58pm On Aug 27, 2021
As at about 2-hours ago, Manchester United has concluded the signing of Christiano Ronaldo to their side. At the close of business last night, we were sure Manchester City was going to have him. They even leaked their progress in the signing deal to the press. Their fans were already everywhere commending the bold move. Atlas! They never knew their announcing the move to the media will cost them the deal.

The truth is, Manchester United doesn't need the services of C.Ronaldo in their team. They went for him because they don't want City to have him. This is an ego buy. A buy to just frustrate the noisy neighbours.

Now to the Business lesson for Entrepreneurs;

The market place is a highly competitive scene. There are a few hundred persons engaged in your kind of trade or service business. What stands you out is your creativity stealthily deployed in the satisfaction of your customers. It is call trade secret. You give that out at your peril.

See, not every person have your kind of good mind and blessedness of being. Not everyone is ok with your progress in the same market. Some persons would buy off your supplier with a bigger pay, just to stifle your production. This is the reality of the market place. It is the reason you must learn to enter and conclude your deals in secret. The only thing you are allowed to announce at the gate is your success story.
