fulani bandits have attacked Living Faith Church Worldwide at Osara community, along Lokoja-Okene road in Adavi Local Government Council of Kogi State.

DAILY POST gathered that the kidnappers, who invaded the church premises when some of its members were rehearsing during the weekend, abducted over three members.

The assailants were said to have stormed the area, shooting sporadically to scare away interveners before whisking the victims to an unknown destination.

The Chairman of Adavi Local Government Council, Joseph Omuya Salami, confirmed the development to newsmen on Monday evening through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Habeeb Jamiu.

According to him, the chairman had visited the scene in company of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Osara Division since the incident occured.

Habeeb Jamiu added that the council was working with security agents in the area to ensure that the victims are rescued unhurt.

The Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Williams Ovye Aya, had not answered calls for comment as at press time.

However beyond this, I also recognized that blood letting have increased significantly in Nigeria since 1999. I recognized that as against the narratives foolish men of god tells us, those shedding these bloods aren't from a single tribe alone but from all tribes.
