Oga we're talking about the frequency of such complaints. This is the first Xiaomi thread I ever saw with this complaint.
But there are many Umidigi threads and posts on this forum with this complaint.

Don't mind that man advertising nonsense,

There's one thing I've noticed about this product, Xiomi to be exact. If you're planning on purchasing a phone of this brand, do not update or root it. Most if the problems associated with this brand is mostly from software updates. Stock ROM out of the box is the best.

This issue is also rampant with the Poco M3 and Redmi 9T. This company is still having a lot of bugs in their software, other than that, it's a great phone.

Omo x 100

I was thinking of gifting someone this same redmi 9c, now I have to reconsider. I know Techno/infinix is a no-no, never expected Redmi to have such an issue.

think there is a factory problem with this redmi 9c...persuaded a friend of mine to get the phone cos I felt redmi is a good buy...after 8days the battery the battery went flat and phone wouldn't turn on again...had to take it to their office at Ikeja....another one was issued as promised after 12 working days....think that particular model has general problem

Sorry for your loss.
Hopefully they’ll look into it.

I’ve got a very clean newly received US-used iPhone 8Plus. I’m not an iPhone lover as I prefer a good android (preferably Xiaomi) It’s gotta be a very good one. I’m on 08023430527. Thanks.

Am using Redmi 7A and 9 so far no issue with any whether be it software or hardware and i do update them in short i updated my Redmi 9 to Android 11 miui 12.5 some days ago and i dont face any problems with it instead a flawlessly speed i remember when i open PES mobile thinking the game would close itself because i had opened many apps after opening it but it still running i was shocked to see it.

To poster maybe Redmi 9C has defective manufacturing process and that happens to all brands not devices brands all brands in as a whole.

I tell you. I use to be a die hard xiaomi fan, From R5plus, Rn5pro, Rn8, Rn10pro. The first time i used galaxy a51. I realized there is a difference between super hardware without software optimization and average hardware with great software optimization. Now using galaxy a52. And enjoying every bit of it. I wonder how the S series go be.

OP what game were you playing on the phone before it died?
(a) PUBG (b) COD

Whenever I visit the Xiaomi thread to expose their flaws, they all come out to attack me. I have said it several times that their phones are riddled with software bugs. It is just too inconsistent for me because I'm a perfectionist as an engineer and mathematics is my thing. The RAM stats, Battery usage stats and Memory usage stats are all incorrect and inconsistent.

For the 9C users complaining, 9T also has similar issues and many users are complaining too.

Mine is 9A and it suffers from all the aforementioned software bugs. In addition to that, the 5000mah battery is wack and doesn't last long at all. Sometimes when I power it ON, it gets stucked on the Redmi boot logo until I force it OFF and ON it again. I just pray it doesn't get stucked permanently one of these days. But I will try my best to sell it out before it gets to that stage.

Guys plz disregard dis op and what he posted. A quick investigation shows he's a hardcore transion marketer. Take anything he says with a pinch of salt.
Re: I'm Done With Xiaomi Brand by xorojinxx: 7:32pm On Sep 01, 2021
At OP you have every right to complain and be angry about it. It's your money and you deserve the very best from the phone.

From my little readings online, I think that particular phone has some underlying software issues.

But then, Xiaomi makes quality phones. Personally, I've been using Redmi Note 5 Pro for 2 years now, with tons of custom roms dropping almost daily.

So, see how you can get their Facebook page and tender your complaints.

Sorry for your issues, you will definitely enjoy your phone.

Note: I had tried this action many times and confirmed it working.

Not only you, bro. It happened across most Redmi phones. Currently, I use Redmi 9t as my 2nd phone which I got early this year. There was a bug in the update that made restart function not to work. I think one of the reasons is to keep of every device so that it won't be stolen and resold to another person. They're just operating on the replica of iphone without informing users of the problems it can pose.

Temporary fix:
Allow the battery to drain off. You can leave it for like 5-7days. After then, plug the phone with the USB type c into the socket. And press power button for 20s, it will first indicate battery signal. Leave it for 30mins more. By that time, it will possibly show you 25% battery charging. Then tap the power button once to boot while still charging.

Permanent fix:
Ensure you unlock the bootloader from the developer option. Enable USB debugging. Then move straight to download twrp custom ROM for your device. Use adb to flash the ROM. so whenever it reboots, you won't be worrying. Because twrp ROM will become the default.

Oh, this your phone is really bad. Of course, you will complain.

Try using their flagship devices.

I always mentioned Samsung A12. It is as stupid as Redmi 9A.

But that doesn't give impression that Samsung in general is a bad phone because their S- series is superb.
Same as Mi series.

Now i know why you complain

What about others using 9T ? Even note series and Poco series users are complaining. Are those ones not flagships? Or until they switch to the Xiaomi mi series costing hundreds of thousands before they can be guaranteed of a bug free phone?

So what's the essence of including that nasty anti theft feature in the update when it is obviously not effective?. Or is it not the fix you narrated up there? Lets just admit it was a bug and stop trying to defend them by cooking up some anti theft stories.

Mine that is 9A also misbehaves at times by failing to reboot or start up.

Yeah, and they're very stupid too. I use 9A and I take my complains to their thread. Instead of them to give me solution they will be castigating me. Some idiots among them will even say I am lying until I shut them up with screenshots. They got fed up with me and labelled me a troll.

There's nothing special about their product. If you visit the thread, it is full of complains.
