Please help me.

I've been having watery and frequent stool for over a month. I stool a minimum of three times a day and its always watery.

I have visited hospitals and done numerous tests but no improvement.

I have done Blood test, stool test, Covid-19 test and HIV test and all were negative.

I have used all sorts of antibiotics and anti-diarrheals as recommended by doctors and pharmacists; Azithromyin, Metronidazole, Ciprotab, lomotil, loperamide etc.

I am single but have a girlfriend. We have MouthAction and rarely use condom.

I remember that around the time this stooling started, I bought a rice at one Captain Cook eatery, the rice's taste was slightly changed. Also, I remember I bought a sandwich at another eatery (not on same day) that didn't taste too good.

Please help.

Go and repeat that HIV test.

You could have what is called Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
No antibiotics will solve this. Its not a bacterial infection but your intestine being constantly irritated by something, most likely gluten based. The solution? See a Consultant Gastroenterologist for a proper review

I used to be a patient of this chronic diarrhea for more than one month but mine stopped immediately I stopped drinking alcohol...

If you drink alcohol I will advice you to stop and see if the stooling stops too

U may be having pseudomembranous colitis due to abuse of antibiotics.
Now the treatment is :
-1 go to a big well established pharmacy

-2.Buy vancomycin and take 1 tab 4 times daily for 10 days to kill d bacteria ( clostridium difficult has most likely taken over ur gut.

-3.ask for a good gut probiotic and take it as prescribed on the leaflet to grow back ur normal bacterial flora.

Get a flagyl packets

Start using maybe 4 tablets every day

For the next few weeks

Make sure it's yellow flagyl

Try to speak with a pharmacist before you use the drug pls

It's an acute gastrointestinal disturbance.

I will recommend,you get natural supplements and stop the use of adverse antibiotics for now......

I was in your shoes about three months ago till one iya agbo mixed better agbo for me. The stooling stopped after three days.
All western medication proved abortive for me at that point.
I initially fought it but I was forced to take it when my condition wasn't improving.

Oga at that point my toilet which was five steps from my room looked like a journey of a thousand miles. I almost relocated to my toilet.

Go and check ur hiv status after 6 months

Repeat your HIV test. Go for Crohn's and celiac disease investigations.

Have you been vaccinated? If yes, hope it didn't start after you took your first jab?

Do you eat anything wheat like wheat bread, oat meal, brown rice etc...if yes, please stop eating them entirely for now and see if u hv improvement. It might be celiac disease. May be not. So if the diarrhea continues after you stop them( that is if u do eat them), then something else is the problem. Just my little suggestion. I might be wrong though...sorry about ur health...wish u quickest recovery in Jesus name...Amen!

Try something like white rice only without stew. Also add salt to warm water n drink to replenish lost electrolytes.

Which type of antibiotics(names) have you taken...Let's start from there...
You can't expect amoxyl or ampicillin to do much for you...

Here lies the problem. Follow his advice. You have abused too many antibiotics thereby destroying the normal flora of your gut.

Happened to me some years ago.
The pharmacist was even surprised I'm still looking healthy.
She gave me one strong worm medicine.
After taking it, na me dey find sheeeet, I no see.

I can't remember the name but it's an old stock she has that has not expired.
It's in that paper/nylon design old Phensic usually comes in.

I drank water mixed with SafeGuard water purifier.
I drank dat water for like 3 days before I discovered it could be the cause and I flushed out all the water.
Whenever I eat anything, straight to toilet.
I became scared of eating.
I was drinking only Bitter lemon.

The only drink I took dat period was anything bitter.

Well I suffered chronic diarrhoea for months untill I was diagnosed of H. Pylori infection at LASUTH in Ikeja by a gastroenterologist. Then I would stool for more than ten times a day. When I swallow anything even water or saliva the next place would be toilet. Please visit a standard general hospital. You will be fine.
