Brown rustic roofs in Ibadan is a cause for concern

Do you think they don't have money to modernise those roofs or pull down the buildings? Instead, they moved to outskirts to build and develop. There are several historic sites in ibadan. The oldest Palace is still there standing.

I just watched the commissioning on TV. The pitch (grass) was not that great. The small rain falling just made the place muddy but our people are okay with it.

Lol. Like i said, that's an old sports complex. It use to be home of Shooting Stars Sports club aka 3SC..

Perhaps they didn't work on the pitch because i haven't seen the clip, only the terraces covered, new seats and painting and some minor other stuff.

You're right, we celebrate mediocrity in this part of the world. It's why we keep getting the worst of us to lead us.
