It was the ones at the Airport under US control that were dis abled.
The equipment under the 350,000 man Afghanistan army and Air Force were not destroyed.
They simply handed them over to the Taliban.

Two things to note:
1) It takes brains to win wars. Weapons are useless without brains
2) Taliban has learnt it's lesson. It wants to remain in power for 100 years or more. It's stylishly and secretly working with the US now and will be a weapon against Iran and anti US Forces.
It's past alliance with anti US Forces like Al Qeda did not pay it. Thus their enemity with ISIS.

It's one thing to take over the government... It's another thing to actually run the country well.

It reminds me of the situation in Zimbabwe after Mugabe stepped down due to military pressure.... Zimbabweans were jubilating on the streets.... After a few years, they started calling on the soldiers to step down after hunger and suffering started dealing with them.

Mentioning Zimbabwe is going too far.

Today, they have the opportunity to run the country and have left it worse than they met it.

Except the Taliban get help from countries like China and Russia, plus the compromised military commanders of Afghan origin, the weapons will be useless in a short period.
The problem with Afghanistan is that of Afghanistan people not of that of America and Americans.
For Taliban fighters to have been able to overruns the country in a short period shows that there was a compromise in the Afghan army.
Anyone blaming Biden for withdrawing from Afghanistan is not reasoning well enough.

After 20 years of hard fighting, transferred of technology to Afghan forces, committing much human resources to the course of seeing Afghanistan to stand up in the company of democratic nations, its good intentions to have plan a withdrawal.
There is always a point of withdrawal.
Afghanistan people were supposed to be able to control their lives and activities after 20 years
Staying back for another 20 years will not get the jobs done if the first 20 years ended like the way it ended now.

Few ones at the airport where coalition forces used were disabled. Meanwhile, the Humvees and other helicopters were abandoned by Afghan forces without fighting at various barracks and bagram airfield.

Did the Taliban during that time not kill hundreds of US soldiers including an ambush last year at the same time he was inviting them to Camp David ( America's sacred Presidential vacation home) for a peace meeting. Camp David o!;the uproar was so much, the venue was quickly changed.
What did Trump do, he got angry, shouted and still went ahead to do the peace meeting and get their leader released from jail!


He had only one year and faced with what has been happening to him in the states what do you expect now.


You know how the democrats has been accusing him of this and that. Now we have sleepy Joe that can and has done nothing but act like a sleep guy. If they had given Trump a free hand he would have done something and even had a better deal. Look at how the United States are running leaving things to the hands of terrorists.

You are probably right because I read yesterday somewhere that a USA military general or official said the US will work with Taliban to dismantle ISIS.
