Mocking players based on their tribe is distasteful and should be condemned at all costs. Shame

From a tactical standpoint, why Shehu and Musa? I wish Rohr could explain.
Change of formation.

I don't know of Musa and shehu but it seems that Kalu and rohr share salary
Kalu is still useful
Just shehu i know why he is been invited though

Iwobi had a good game today.
The pitch did not help matters at all.

He has done it again

Now I know why epl teams have refused sign Onauchu dude is so slow...his movement can slow down the tempo of the game. I see Ike Ugbo moving to England first from genk

Aribo will never flourish on this type of pitch.
Aribo probably made the most through passes, only his runs couldn't get through Liberian defense. Ever since Aribo's goal run ended, you people say so many weird things every game he plays. He was very good today.

It is clear that NFF and Rohr want Musa to break Yobo's record.

So we will try a new midfield against Cape Verde and Rohr spent the 70th minute substituting Shehu and Musa

The pitch is not that bad, and no thanks to the rain, as you all can see,

I like painting pressing, it kept their defenders back, and it's high time we do something about rain and our pitch, or better still, the NFF should work without weather Agency, to prevent this kind of scenario from happening

My two cent

The pitch is bad

Say dem Dey forbid us to see African qualifiers as low grade Europe own base on pitch ?

forgiveness:

I am not saying it’s good but I am saying it is the same everywhere in Nigeria.
I think we should all be agreeing to condemn anything that is bad. Rather than trying to trivialize such issues with everyone else is like that now! When someone steals in 9ja and is caught, instead of condemning the wrongdoing, we respond with is he the only one stealing? Why didn't they catch the other thieves?
In summary, that pitch is bad, QED. The other ones we have played on in recent times too are not good either, Asaba, Benin etc. Hopefully we can get at least 2 world class and well maintained pitches in Nigeria, is that too much to ask?

Are you sure the Uyo pitch is still in good shape? The last Akwa match highlights I saw showed some brown patches on the Uyo turf.

It's like good maintenance culture na abomination to us?

You just picked up this narrative from no where that epl teams didn’t sign onauchu because he was too slow ,so you wanna tell me that there are no players onuachu is faster than in the epl ?

Onauchu didn’t move because he was unlucky not because he was too slow ,and must it be epl if I may ask ?

I am sure many of you had said things like this about Dennis when none of his transfers where working till he surprised you people with that watford move

Is Christian benteke a fast player ?

Ike ugbo is an English player

Not too pretty but it's the 3 points that matter now. NFF needs to do better we can't keep almost sabotaging our teams by giving them poor playing surfaces. We need to maximize every little advantage cos this qualifiers are going to be a battle which we will need to be prepared for. Unto Cape Verde We move!

bros nothing like unlucky after scoring over 30 goals in the Belgian league. If Onuachu was as mobile as lukaku or even bashuanyi atleast mid table epl teams would hv risked the amount Genk were demanding to bring him on board

The NFF better get serious with the kind of venue they select for the super eagles games...Ever since the 2018 WCQ ended, they have moved the team all over the country.. From Port Harcourt to Asaba to Benin City and now Lagos... Every match day,we keep having the same complaint of poor pitches ..I hope the Abuja stadium pitch turns out better than this one...

As for the match, all I can say is that it was enough that we got 3 points...
Cape Verde will be tough, but I believe we will get something off them...

I repeat dude is unlucky

We still have a quality player like Hans vanaken still playing for club Brugge at 29

Even Carlos bacca left Belgium for the top at 27 or so ,onuachu can still do it

It is very clear Osimhen doesn't thrive well under the current 4-4-2 formation.
We have more wingers than midfielders.
Iwobi played well because he can also thrive as a midfielder.

But we will concede less goals with this formation.

No the pitch is not bad, that's grass for crying out loud, when heavy rain fall on grass, what did you expect,
And it's not as if it's a rain that fall over or two days ago, the rain actually fall heavily today, so what you trayna say

I know the difference between a crime and a comparison.

I never exonerate a thief in this context. I only compared a football pitch with another.
