The best diet is a balanced diet with lots of fruits and vegetables. He will get the nutrients from your breast milk. Also feed every 2-3 hours (even at night) if exclusively breast feeding.

Bebem is one of the cheapest o. But you can opt for clothe diaper when you are at home during the day and then use disposable diaper when you are going out and at night. It will drastically reduce the cost. Clothe diaper comes in different types too, some as cheap as 300naira while some are as expensive as 2000naira

Can she take foods that make her lactate? Oats, chicken, beverage with milk, lactation cookies, etc.

it depends on what your baby will accept, mine do take Cerelac, blended oat, Tombrown and some home made food...

I have been following this thread since I was pregnant. The advises given here are superb.

Please mommas, I need your advice on HOW TO STOP BREASTFEEDING MY CHAIRMAN. The best way to go about it and if there is any way I can stop the pains that accompanies it( I heard that weaning a child even results in fever and stuffs like that on the mother's side. Don't know how true it is though).
How do I cope with his mid night demands of breast milk?

He doesn't really accept the food we eat at home except his cereals, custard and fruit juice. Though sometimes he takes Eba with draw soup.

I can only say, don't believe everything you read or see. Everyone has different signs o. I weaned my baby with no pain, fever or anything. I used Milo though. It's alot of work oooo. You must wake up at night to give him something to soothe the demand of Milo.

Thanks momma for the advice. Though I have stopped breastfeeding him for the past 5days now. I use Milo for making tea and he enjoys it with his milk and I make sure to feed him before he sleeps at night and it helps too.

On my part the pains and fever is something else, I had to go get medication from a pharmacy to help relieve the pains.

That looks like cradle cap. Babies have it and it clears after a while. It looks soft too. Don’t scratch it so it doesn’t get infected or injured.

My customer said her gal is 2 years old but doesnt have a tooth yet. But if u watch her grind chin chin, meat and normal things adults eat, u would think she even has molars. I told her that kids develop at their own pace. What parents see in this journey is so marvelous. Orishirishi

It looks soft cos I had just put oil after he just bathed, when there’s no oil it looks more like a dried healed/healing wound.

I wonder if I should stop oiling his head for now. I’ve always heard to never let the fontanelle be dried of oil

Yeah, it’s better to keep it moisturized/oiled. Cradle cap in that front area usually heals last. It will improve with time and eventually go away.

My bby prefer sucker than breast.... She likes the sucker than breast... Even she is sleeping she still suck it... But she doesn't like breast
