Ivermectin and HCL are more like prophylactics that you have immediately after getting the virus but before you get sick. They stop the virus from multiplying, giving your immune system better chance against lower viral population. They don't kill the virus. Therefore they cannot pass any clinical trial on sick patients.

Exactly yes. Any doctor who came up with an effective treatment got cancelled. I posted this long read yesterday . There were cases of patients being in a ventilator for days with doctors having given up. Required a judge to force the clinic administer ivermectin. Several patients recovered and were discharged
Read this with an open mind. The guys who came up with it are respected peer reviewed doctors who have treated thousands of almost hopeless cases. They would be more knowledgeable than Faucci.
