You are not alone. I had my biometrics on the 6th of July, got not straightforward email on the 9th. First interview didn't hold. Finally interviewed on the 26th of July and here I am still waiting for a decision.
It's very frustrating

Send a paid mail, they will get back to you in two working days telling you the status of your application.

After 25 days, I got an email for a telephone interview on Tuesday the 31st of August, but they didn't call. I had to send a paid mail on Wednesday the 1st of September. Got interviewed on the 2nd... the reply from the paid mail came on the 3rd which explained the status of my application. Thus, "Application status decided ". Yet to get a decision mail though. Praying for a positive outcome.

Someone was denied last year because in the interview she said she will.stay with her sister and in the form she claims not to know no one in the UK. Be sure of the information you are giving in order not to contradict yourself.

Are you referring that to me or to the person who wants to answer No to that question?

Hello house,

I've been following for the past 3 weeks and have read everything from page one and done a lot of googling. Wow.

I plan on applying for September 2020 intake (I know I know, still far) so I'm trying to equip myself with all the information and guideline i can get.

One important question i want to ask is...Do i need to be in Nigeria to apply for the students visa? I'm in Asia, can I just apply here?

Two...Must the POF Show the required 9300 pound AND the balance of fees after making deposit or just the 9300 pounds is enuogh provided i have paid deposit

Three...Honestly, i still don't understand the steps. Please correct me if i'm wrong

Apply for admission and get accepted
Pay your deposit
Receive CAS
Fund your account with the POF
Wait till it matures 28 days
Do your TB test and get result
Print out POF, apply for visa online, pay visa fee and IHS
Wait to be invited for Biometrics and interview
Wait for mail to pick up your visa

Please guys, kindly put me straight and correct my mistakes

Thanks

Guys please any help?

Any and all answers would be appreciated

You will still need to fill the passenger locator form anyways. Fill form with the updated address

Hello house. Is it possible to change quarantine address from hotel to normal accommodation?
In my own case i uploaded hotel quarantine booking when applying for the visa but i have now secured a month accommodation for my quarantine & stay and i have canceled the hotel booking because these gives me values for my money and close to my school. Will this be an issue at the port of entry? Maybe they have the hotel quarantine booking on their system.

I assume you meant Sept 2022? So you still have time. Sit down and go through pgs 1 and 2 thoroughly. Go to Part 5 and start reading from at least the last 20-40 pages. I’m for Jan intake and even using a school rep agent, but I’ve been reading this thread daily since April. Like after going through Instagram, twitter etc, I come to NL as well.
School A’s procedure might not be school B’s, some ask for TB test and/or POF before you’re issued CAS.

Once you’ve done the above, trust me you’ll be well grounded in this, hell you can even open shop as a UK Student visa agent wink

Good luck to us all.

I've also been following the thread back to back.

As you've advised, i'l go look for the previous thread and read the last pages. Thanks

If you have the money do super priority
Because you will still quarantine for 10day in Uk too

"Wait to be invited for Biometrics and interview" after filling and applying for your Visa online you immediately book for a date to do biometric NOT WAIT and then you may be interviewed or not.

I would love to use this great podium to congratulate September intake and will be waiting to get to know some of you not all.

And Also I'd like to thank those like horsey, justwise and co so much for their immense contributions to this great platform.

I will also like to encourage some of us that are still seeking for admission and visa application process to continue pushing because the hassle worth it when you adhere to rules and regulations in place.

My candid advice goes to those coming this September, when you get here or while you are still in naija.
I get to learn this things I'm about to share with you guys myself but the only reason why I want to share it is, we are great in life not because we are able to avoid mistakes or being successful in our endeavours rather we are great/heroes when we help someone else to escape the mistakes we made ourselves!

The rules to adhere to when you enter UK are
1. Deactivate your social media handles or use a different name/ block public from viewing your previous post even down to 10yrs back/ delete violent post/ any post talking bad about your home country or government comot am!
2. People here are FRIENDLY to get information about you and they will use it against you especially in your working place, we all watch Hollywood and we see how compassionate they are but reverse is the case! Keep your work stuff at work! In fact, let everything that comes with work end at work! e get why! your working fokes na them!
3. Talk good about your country! that's if you can't keep shut! Talk less! don't give them clue!

4. Mind your business. Like some of us that came here single looking for.. grin grin grin to marry, they will laugh with you and the same person will stab you when you least expected it! God has purpose and different plans for each and everyone of us to stay back/survive. Just stick to God and watch Him fix you or allocate your own stay. For me, I'm still optimistic that mine will come...hahahaha anyway I be January intake!

5. Lastly, when you get here, don't ever let your luggage's out of site! people here can still your shoes if you fell asleep on train or bus station here! Not saying that all are bad but when you come here be very careful! Naija may be bad but at least we know how portray genuine love not fake it! although we have Judas for naija as well hahaha.

May I ask why my social account should be deactivated… thank you

I and my family traveled with 5 cartons of indomie , if you have the baggage allowance, take enough food , it will take you time to adapt to things in a new land.
Note: we had 7 23kg bags so we had space for enough
