You cannot want to buy a V6 3.5 and expect economy to be the norm.....

I actually own the next-gen model.

OP, if fuel economy is at all your concern, then look for another car.

How do I put it? I filled my tank on Sunday. 20 gallons. I've driven 150 miles and have about 35 miles left.
That's roughly 9mpg, although I drive spiritedly. It was also mostly city driving.

On long trips, you can probably get about 20-22mpg if you drive conservatively.

It has bad fuel economy, especially for city driving. Buy if you need a cheap touring car; it's very fun to drive on highways.

If you want to eat your cake and have it go and buy any Nissan with 2.5L engine eg

Or the skyline 250GT all this cars are good in fuel economy and they are wolves in sheep clothing

Go for an inline four if you are worried about fuel consumption.
Apart from that its a solid car, get a good mech for diagnosis and you are good to go.

i had the infiniti G35 2007 model...shes a good car and moves like a demon but she has so many electrical problems that almost drove me mad..Also the fuel consumption was very very high especially if u drive like a getaway driver. The gear always burned out fast.I changed gear two times..i sold it at a give away price..pls do not buy....i did a review of it years ago with pipedreams as my profile
