Opobo has always been Igbo never anything else.

Adakaboro8/captain8, we're still waiting for you and your crew.

How do the ijaws ever think that the river will ever swallow the Ocean ?

In years to come, the "Igbo kwenu" call will gush forth from throats across the imo and Niger rivers

Gbam.
You know what you are talking about

That has always been the plan before the charlatans and their "suplim lida" aka Ezeonyeagwanam came up with their Babelian Biafra with unrepentant minorities( especially Ijaws ) who has no single iota of remorse for their sins against Ndiigbo but are still boasting and preparing to do more if opportunities arise.

As it should be.
Things will align well in fullness of time.
But the charlatans promoting a tower of Babel with minorities for Ndiigbo will need to fizzle out.

They will all drop that with time. They have come to realize the need to drop them and go with biafra of Igbo nation . It makes no sense to add these inconsequential minorities to the new biafra and they don't deserve such.
I'm for Igbo nation and only Igbo nation. MNK must realize that and start pursuing it bc it will unite the Igbo in north central, south east and south south that were divided during and after the uncivil war.

For me ,the ejagham people are the only people to be considered if they decide to go with us .

The ijaws have been using terror and intimidation in grabbing other minorities lands and also threatening them on top. However, they're too small to challenge Igbos, they've never been any match with us and will never be. Going forward, we have to start Igbo nationalism that would be geared towards reintegrating all our people both in the SE, SS and NC.

I doubt our people that share virtually everything with us will decide to leave us and embrace total strangers that have nothing in common with them. If the Ijaws try to stop them from reuniting with us, we will crush them.

Ijaw started their fight to claim opobo kingdom since 1980, they tried everything to install an ijaw man as the king opobo kingdom but the case taken to court where king jaja family won at supreme Court of Nigeria.

Good one. We need a new organization to achieve this. IPOB and Ohaneze failed on that. We can call it "Ndi Igbo n'ile " or "Ndi Igbo".

Is this not what we have been preaching for years?
All talks of multi ethnic BIAFRA with minorities should stop and full throttle aggressive Igbo nationalism geared towards uniting all Igbo speaking people in SS and NC with SE be activated.

Have we not been saying this for years while IPOB and their "suplim lida" are obsessed with yeye unity with aggressive minorities out to grab Igbolands while riding on the Igbophobic horse of Hausa-Fulani and their Muslim supporters from SW?

Have we not said that we must first put Igboland in order by pursuing an Igbo only Biafra?

You are jumping at the knowledge of Opobo and Bonny today, but many of us have always known this for decades.
Yet you don't Know this, but you oppose us and push your ignorance driven multi ethnic BIAFRA with Igbophobic minority groups.

We really need to come together first as Igbo for sure, but one of the major obstacle with opobo was not having a direct road access. But i think the present state government have connected the twin with a bridge

MNK and IPOB may have plans and strategies you are not privy to but one thing is for certain they are far more courageous than most of us E-warriors, for me there is something admirable and noble about someone staking his life on what he believes in, unfortunately, we Africans have no idea what perseverance and determination are anymore............IPOB is lock, stock, and barrel Igbo...!! Your attitude sucks and smacks of immaturity, who exactly are you making fun of, its attitude like yours that makes the Igbo nation easy picking for our adversaries! If IPOB is going to die please allow the organization to fade away ....desist from washing our dirty linen in public........what's the matter with you people for Pete's sake.

Yes King Jaja of Opobo is originally from Orlu IMO State and it may interest you to know that is his great grand son is the Eze-igbo of Ghana. That language you are hearing is pure Igbo of the Umuaka area of Orlu IMO state.

There is one thing you people need to understand. When pondering on historical information, please desist from using this I don't know who invented form of clustering people in what they call Imo State into Orlu, Owerri, Okigwe etc zone. It creates unnecessary division.
BTW, Umuaka is different from Amaigbo.

The dialect in Opobo is that of Ndoki and not Umuaka in any way. Get your facts right. Jaja was sold alone into that land and not with his AmaIgbo people. When he arrived, he met Igbo people living there already and most are of Ndoki stock.

Its not about language. They deny the existence of many independent towns by clustering all as Orlu.
This is very wrong in Igbo setting.
The existence of everyone no matter how small is vital.
If someone is from Amịrị, let the person say that he is from Amịrị.
If someone is from Umuaka, let him say with his full chest that he is from Umuaka.
If someone is from Amaigbo, let the person be allowed to declare his Town with honour.
Like the British described and I quote "In Ibo country, each person hails like a sailor and represents his district/Town"

Good thread.
But that Opobo and Bonny speak Igbo language as their mother tongue should be common sense nah.

One day, we will sit down and talk about the genocide Adaka Boro and his Ijaw people from Ghana committed against the Igbos of Bonny and Opobo.
This is why a multi ethnic BIAFRA with Ijaws and other minorities is strongly opposed by well learned Igbos, because such an arrangement will prevent us from serving out full justice to these unrepentant minorities who rode on the back of Hausa-Fulani to decimate Igboland.

We will continue to insist on Igbo only Biafra. Because we have lots of score to settle at the appropriate time with these people.

That is because Opobo dialect is one of the closest to the central Igbo.
It is basically what we speak here and in Enuani.
All the Igbo words are old and intact.
For example "nga anyị na akwa ụgbọ" Meaning "where we paddle canoe"
Anambra South, some parts of Enuani and Imo call "where" "nga/nge".
So you'll understand it better than ika that have been corrupted with Bini and hate

Enuani is different from Opobo Igbo. Enuani sounds closer to Onicha/Ogbaru/Idemmili in Anambra.
