That's why they say teacher's reward is in heaven. It's such a sacrificing, selfless career that many despise. But ironically, many who can't find jobs are forced to do it. Only very few schools pay their teachers well, ever fewer treat them with dignity. 2 Likes |

I am in similar situation but private lesson is what is sustaining me. I travelled to Lagos searching for something better this holiday only for the proprietor to call me that same week that if she does not see me the next day for the summer lesson, she'd terminate my work. Private schools are using the situation and unemployment rate in country to exploit poor Nigerians. That 25k is not up to what a student pays per term, combine it to the number of students in js1 a b and c till the last in js3 with 3 subjects and that is what a teacher gets per month. Ask the idiot to go employ his family members. This is where Buhari and Yoruba people have landed us. 3 Likes 1 Share
