Residents of Ogun State have taken to social media to bemoan the lack of refuse collection in the state that they say has been going on for a while now.

On twitter, many citizens have been asking the government to fulfil its role, saying that people are being forced to dump their wastes by roadsides and on the median of the road due to lack of proper waste management system.

One resident on twitter said that, "The state is too dirty and I hope the government should try and make a law to tackle this dirtiness."

Another resident tweeted that, "The total number of PSP is not enough for Abeokuta South alone, talk more of the entire state. There is no single PSP in the entire ifo. What a shame"

Ogun state has recently and constantly been in the news for negativity. What's really happening? Very soon, it might overtake Katsina with the level of infrastructural decadence bedeviling the state or could this be the handiwork of political rivals? Like people who want to get into power through the backdoor? (According to Buhari)

Who even started this roadside dumping of refuse in Nigeria. We need to find that person and give him some slaps.

If you go to Aba or some part of Enugu, you will marvel. Port Harcourt is also becoming dirty since Wike sacked the contractors.

Nigeria as a whole is a very dirty country. Nigeria lack sanitzation. Every state, city, town, and village in Nigeria has refugees everywhere. Nigeria doesn't have Sanitation who will pick up garbages two or three times a week. since the government can't provide or organize sanitation, people end up dumping garbages anywhere they see and of course, Nigerians are dirty themselves too and lack proper sanitation indivdiual.

Ogun state is a collosal failure when it comes to roads and other average infrastructure..... The failure dates back to obj, as a president he did little for that state....Ogun state never tapped into the drift advantage of being the closest to Lagos state....take ojodu Berger for example ..good road from Berger bus-stop, only for it to stop right in front of justrite, just because justrite won't allow them to touch some of their space that will be affected by the road rehabilitation, justrite claimed Ogun state (depressing).

Yakoyo road that leads to alagbole...good stretch of road to the bridge then nemesis Immediately after the bridge.

If successive Ogun state governors paid more attention to roads and infrastructural development, it will have been better, even the few roads done are below average and won't last past their tenure.
