Danielnino00:Maduka is better than Uzoho even with the ball on his fit. No reasonable coach will drop a goalkeeper playing constantly in the Dutch league and emerged as one of the best last season for one in an obscure league Rohr sees both in close quarters in training so I believe he has his reasons for sticking with maduka Small time una go say na because him na oyibo born 4 Likes 1 Share |

Danielnino00: Dunno who will help with stats for our last 4 SE GKs with respect to the defenders in front of them as well. Uzoho Akpeyi Ezenwa Maduka I think it might be quite helpful. But i wont lie, the league Uzoho is in ehn, its ruining his chances. If he can go to Israel and do a few good seasons like Enyeama, it just might restore order. For now, the trust is on Maduka. I personally would prefer Uzoho. He's impressed me so far. 8 Likes |

daveP:no need for stats, maduka's heroics n performance last season in Holland is a testament to how much he has improved and how better he will get in the future after just a season of top flight football I bet you guys that in the next few seasons to come Maduka will be among top 3 African goalies in Europe 3 Likes |

Icon4s: Just catching cruise bro I said if it happens to be last games...now to the remaining games, bro u see that Libya, there is no way they will allow Egypt over take them again na so them go play am till qualifiers end. Then to Ghana group, don't underestimate an SA group lead ooo those guys can frustrate Giants and remain at the top the group, Ghana has jus shot themselves on d foot by allowing SA beat them, because SA coached by Hugo broos(Afcon winning coach 2017) will lock up at that top spot. As for morrocco it's a 50-50 chance with them and Guinea ooo |

charlesemeka85: We'd still need it. The deduction will help the comparism in National colors. It definitely will. Maduka definitely has proved himself in the Club level. I know he will be up there soon. His current GWG numbers just don't cut it currently. But i know he'd be in the Qatar bound squad! |

Tolulopefinest:Bros chill If you be or done coach or dey close to a football team, u go understand wetin i dey talk. You make ur judgement based on Uzoho u knw b4, how about the uzoho of now. The first goal CVerde scored, he adjusted to cover the 2nd post(incase of a curler) but the goal scorer was smart (give it to the guy). |

charlesemeka85: Club and national team performance aren't the same thing oga...Some players perform well at club level but not so in the national team and vice versa. Iwobi for instance is mostly average at club level, but always churn up top class performance in the national team.... You just can't come up with any evidence that Okoye has been better than Uzoho in the national team, because there's none... 5 Likes |

On a more serious note, Osimhen pace and ability to drift wide is a huge asset for the team.. With more flexible wingers like Chukwueze, Onyekuru, Kalu and Ejuke, our attack would he really lethal.. Simon and Musa aren't mobile enough in my opinion... 5 Likes 1 Share |

Please who knows Nff or Nigeria sport ministry, please beg them, we just need one perfect stadium, one we can call home, or a fortress, it's a disservice to the players and Nigerians, the poor standards of stadiums we play in, it's insulting and shows lack of regard. We cannot call ourselves a footballing nation with all this abysmal standards of stadiums we have, it will be an injustice to proper systems for Nigeria to get to even quarter finals of the world cup, if we can't even have a world class stadium, I am not even going far to mention sport complex, you keep booking for hotels, which cost more and more, instead of having a proper sport complex with rooms and serenity for players to harmonise even off the pitch, you keep taking them from hotel to hotel, such instability doesn't deserve any success, it's just what it is. I am really gutted, because this football can be a tool for rebuilding unity and nationalism amongst Nigerians, everyone forgets they are hausa, igbo or yoruba for 90mins, imagine Nigeria winning a world cup, imagine how less tense the political atmosphere would be for a while. It's a shame. 8 Likes |

Danielnino00: Defensively, Simon is the best of the lot. Ejuke also did his defensive duties well yesterday. Without those less than glamorous efforts the team balance would not be there and thats when the wahala will start. Sure bring on Chukwueze, Kalu etc when we are bossing games and are going to be on the front foot for long periods but in away games and when the midfield is not sure to boss the game Simon PLAYS!! 2 Likes |

Chief, Okoye has the potential to be an excellent goalie but for now he's not at the level we need from someone who will prosecute crucial tournaments and qualifiers. Uzoho is no Donnaruma or Allison but he tries to do most of the basics. In the crucial games I've seen Francis play he is always making vital saves but with Maduka it's like most shots on target tend to get in. charlesemeka85: 7 Likes 2 Shares |
