I’ve known Vina since the 80s. Visit their showroom in Ibadan, Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano to see best of naija locally made furnitures.

Straight wood is possible if you’re ready to pay the extra cost.

So it is the Nigerian factor then. But that theory that the trees are not straight does not hold water. That same crooked tree will be exported to China or Germany and it will be cut perfectly straight to size.

There is something about us as a people. We're largely not thorough, diligent and regards best practice as too much work. Short cut and quick money is ingrained in most of us.

I won’t mind sharing some imported furnitures I bought too and show you what’ they’re made off.

Price changes everyday so go market or near to you to find out price.

Plumbing is not an exact science so don't be surprise if he ask for more materials

Can you see how straight and to size the cuts are? Only in Nigeria will you pass a straight cut wood as premium. In "ordinary" South Africa it is the norm.
