Good day,
Please i want to ask if it’s advisable to leave my job with federal government parastatal with monthly pay of a little above 200,000 and pursue Canada relocation (PR)using the federal skill worker program.
I am not married.
Please i need honest advice.

If you marry, a salary of a little above 200k won't keep you comfortable. My take: please pursue the Canada option if feasible. Thanks.

An adult need atleast 250k a month to maintain a decent standard of living in todays Nigeria. If you have your way, leave now! THE EARLIER THE BETTER.

How do you intend to survive in Canada? What's your plan?

To get a job hopefully after settling down because i have a degree and ANAN certification. Might be rough in the beginning but hope it will be worth the risk and stress.

Before you leave, ask yourself: what skills do you have that can help you make the transition?

My accommodation where I am is $900 a month. You know for sure that there is no kind of money I will make in Nigeria to support such a lifestyle. You have to make money from foreign sources in foreign currency to live abroad comfortably.

I would advise you to pick up a freelance skill and pursue the relocation. Trust me, there are opportunities. Even my LinkedIn interface is showing jobs that never showed up when I was in Naija. There are opportunities you can never know existed. Wifey who is into digital marketing landed a job the very week we left quarantine.

That's cool...but be mindful of canada job market perspective against foreign certification
