Are you for real? Hahahaaa. This is really crazy........

dannyrhymes600:
Kleptomaniacs are people who steal uncontrollably, they may not need the item they steal but they just have a strong urge to steal it.

First experience

When I was in junior sec we had this big guy in our class, he steals anything he sets his eyes on. From erasers, pencils, chalks, cane, already used notebooks, sharpeners, dirty socks even launch boxes. He was asked to bring his parents to school on several occasions but his mum never showed up. People nicknamed him ( omo baba elekun ) the crying man's son because his dad crys anytime he was called to the school concerning his son's case. The father looks and smells rich, he even owned a car then, the funny part is, this guy comes to school with 500 naira. 500 naira was real cash back in 2007. When you ask him why he steals he will start crying and ask you if he steals, it was as if he wasn't aware he steals.

Second experience

Around 2013 when I finished senior sec i was enjoying myself at home so most times I was seen roaming about in the barracks with friends. I became friends with this girl whose dad was a master warrant officer. That is a good rank in the Nigerian army. We noticed that anytime she comes to our house something always get missing. My mum called my attention to it but I didn't want to believe she was the one stealing them. She came to our house one day through the kitchen door and few seconds later my mum started looking for the matches ontop of the shelf. As she was going home, she wanted to give me money to buy recharge card and do subscription so we can chat on 2go at night, that was when the matchbox fell from her pocket, I didn't say anything because I was surprised as hell. Next day, she came and we started looking for our TV remote, I just went to their house and collected it from her without saying a word. Babe even stole my lil bro's spoilt palito radio. She is the only child of her father, her mum died when giving birth to her. I nicknamed her sticky fingers. She liked that name till we left the barracks, she said it was the nicest name someone gave her because of her condition. Others call her names like barawo, thief, armed robber and other painful names.

I believe these people need help, if you notice a clepto please don't be harsh to them

Had one guy I knew in Jos. He's from a relatively wealthy family, he always had cash to spend but he was always involved in one case of theft or the other, even among his friends that he foots their Bill's. He could be wearing a 12000 maira wrist watch while visiting and still steal a friend's 1500naira watch. That's how bad it was.
Valentine's day in 2006. I Had no money to spend on my girl then so I sneaked to a bar to drink lager and eat suya. This guy (klepto) came in company of 3 other guys in his car, one of the cars in their house. Apparently they were partying somewhere else and ran short of drinks so they came to restock. Bottle of red wine was about 700naira then and this guy ordered for 4. While the bar guy was trying to package the drinks this guy stole one more bottle and tried to hide it in his Jean back pocket and cover with his jacket. It missed and the bottle fell and broke. So embarrassing. I saw him while he did that and he claimed he wanted to buy it and add to those already bought. Who was to bear the loss of the drink was becoming a problem between him and the bar guy until I intervened and explained everything I saw. That was when he shamefully admitted and it was settled. Bar man wanted to remove a bottle out of those my guy bought as replacement but surprisingly this guy asked that it be left. He still paid for the broken one. The thing shocked me. You got money to pay and you still wanted to steal after paying 4 bottles o! And me I was managing my k-Borg and 2 suya sticks.
The guy has gotten to stage 10 Damn

One I know been stealing since Primary School..... brilliant girl. When is a "major theft" like teacher's purse or money ... classes on lockdown .. everybody searched... she taken to office for strip search or interrogation... after her... case closed. Fast forward ... yearssss later.... she got a banking job... teller.....that didn't last long. She got into teaching ... only to hear she was one in charge of students on an outing when a student reported her phone stolen. The bus was stopped and a search launched. Do I have to say? This thing is like an addiction for life.
My work mate's brother is a klepto. He told me when going to visit a home ... his father will instruct them on seating arrangements.... the klepto must be seated between the other two siblings to prevent him from stealing. He said to date.... he can't figure out how he still manages to steal despite the arrangement and the two looking out. At home they will find other people stuff ... he steals but never uses. Guess its like a daily challenge!

I noticed late
But my kiwi shoe polish had already gone
My shoe brush on another occasion
My stapler gone on another occasion
My TV remote battery gone also
My perfume gone
My shoes gone
My tooth brush also

The last one that happened was my extension box. Somebody went to her house and saw it in her hand bag and brought it back to me after calling me to inform me

Before then I never suspected her. She even had the guts to be asking the person if they saw her extension box. The person told her to ask me (the phone was on speaker) She never asked me till today, she just stopped coming to my house

Lol.during my senior year in high school, there was this fresher called molecule (real name is MOLEKU) he was famously known for having 6fs and 2Ds in his first term result.
On a particular Saturday morning,he stole from a Roommates locker, was caught and beaten mercilessly. Around 2pm that same day, he was caught stealing again, dealt with severely and punished.
Lo and behold by 8pm,molecule was caught in the act embezzling food belongings, everyone got tired of beating him and he was taken to our guidance and councilor masters house in the staff quarters for proper mentoring grin grin

It real bro. There was guy a teen like me 15 years ago, from a wealthy family who had to be relocated to a pastor's abode in my area. He was on an errand, fortunately my friend's mum sent us to pick crate of drinks to stock in the freezer only for us to noticed the front door that is usually closed open. We caught the guy red-handed. Checking the packages he stole, big tiger batteries grin. Wine and drinks, other better stuff dey, the guy went after batteries. That's when you realise some things are beyond comprehension. Later we get to know he's the only son in a polygamous family of 4 wives.

My own na one of my colleagues for my workplace, chai, d girl dey steal.

We were doing some furniture rearrangement at the office, so there was no real work that day cos tables and office equipment were being moved around. Some of the guys were helping with moving the furniture. I have a small bag l normally keep my belongings, na so I put my fone inside the bag and was helping carry things, gisting and so on. I dint use my fone after I put it in my bag, until I got to the gate of my house after work, opened my bag to take the fone to call my brother to come open the gate for me, lo and behold.... No fone inside bag, I check dat bag like 30 times that evening. Life jus tire me. That's how I had to do Welcome back and go back to my old fone wey one side of d screen no dey show take dey manage my life.

Fast forward to like 4 months later, I bought a brand new fone, 76k and was enjoying the fone. One Faithful day I left work to go to the bank, after my transactions at the bank it became very dark with clouds, a heavy rain was about to fall. I wanted to get back to the office before the rain started cos I still had unfinished work. I drove from the bank back to work very very fast, all so that I can reach before rain starts. my heart was beating well all through the drive cos I was driving fast like Lewis Hamilton grin
Luckily I made it back just in time, as I reached the office the rain came down real heavy. As I got back from the bank, I was really pressed and felt I would pee in my trousers, I quickly dropped my belongings on my desk and dashed to the restroom, fifteen feet away. After peeing I returned to my desk and my brand new fone was gone. By this time it was almost closing time and few people had started to leave for home. I raised the alarm that my fone has been stolen but by now a lot of people had left and I dint know where to start from, I went back to the bank and had to meet the branch manager and request to view the cctv footage just to be sure that I dint leave the fone on the counter, which I was sure I didn't. Kai, the theft of that fone pain me reach my bone marrow. I had to once again go back to my half screen fone. The next day at work the gist was everywhere that another fone has been stolen from me. I jus dey vex, dey boil. I go tel my oga say how everybody wan talk say nobody see fone, say I go accuse one guy wey bin dey close by the time wey dey fone miss, say I go accuse that guy whether no b him carry am, maybe if I accuse him, him go talk something wey go point me in the right direction. I was just mad that my fone could just vanish into thin air. My oga carry God beg me dat day. Na so my colleagues come dey sympathise with me. E get one girl 4d office wey dey always cal me her husband, she go dey tel d other ladies say make she no catch any of them talking to me o, so basically we were close in the office.
She came to the office that day and was complaining bitterly on my behalf and vexing for everybody, she later came and met me and told me not to just let the fone go like that, that she can borrow me half of the money to go to sars office to have the fone tracked. I just laughed and told her not to bother, that if God says I will get it back I would and if He says it's gone then it's gone. She shouted that how can I say that about that expensive fone. Unknown to her and all my colleagues (I didn't tel a soul) I had already gone to sars to track the stolen fone.

After 2 months sars called me to say they had tracked my fone to another state and if I know anyone there. I was shocked like buhari. grin

D police contacted the person using the phone and informed him it was stolen, he chatted them that the fone was given to him by his girlfriend in another state and called the full names of that girl in my office as the one who gifted him the fone.

I was even more shocked... shocked

ASAP, I got to their office and came down to the office with 2 policemen and headed straight to my ogas office and the police briefed him and he 2 was shocked, saying that the girl is a nice girl and always comes to help he and his wife at home. He begged the police to please give him a minute with her to get a confession since she is like a daughter to him. He called her one on one to the office and she denied it flat, she also denied it in presence of the police, even though she could not answer questions put to her by the police.

That's how we bundled her straight to the police station, wen I was leaving the police station she was begging me not to go and leave her alone there. It took all my willpower not to tear her dirty slap. I bounced like a ball and left her there, I also accused her directly of stealing the 1st fone.

I told her the only thing I want is the fone, if I can't get it then she should pay the full cost for the fone, she signed undertaking and had to pay me on the said date.

After all this we now got info from her former working place that she steals a lot and that was why she left her former working place. She steals whatever she can lay her hands on, a colleague once told me he saw her put one of the office staplers in her bag. This is a girl that will b doin fine babe fine babe.

Wow, I just learned something today.
So there's this girl that has been assisting me in class, just few days she started working with me, the pupils snacks begin to disappear, I would ask her and she will deny not knowing anything.
I was so confused, I asked her "how could only me and you be in a class and children snacks is missing from there lunch boxes"?
I was so angry that I reported her to the head mistress.
Parents started complaining bitterly about their children missing snacks that I was so embarrassed.
One day, I stopped the girl from entering the class until the head mistress had plead on her behalf to give her the last chance.
The scary part is that I never caught her red handed and even when I searched her bag, I saw nothing.
The painful part is that, even sweet, biscuit of 10 naira is not left out. embarassed
She looks so innocent and calm that I got even more confused.
I started praying seriously and had to start bringing the pupils snacks, writing there names on each of them and putting it in a particular bag.
I'm glad I don't work with her anymore!
