Lol. I think say na only Nissan dey get this issue.

In my case the pump was fine o, just for the mech to change the leaking hose connected to the fliud reservoir. I no know wetin he go touch, the pump come fail. That was beginning of my nightmares.

Four pumps, 3 diff mechanics and even the entire steering rack checked,but to no avail. I just tire. Though it improved, but not as free as it used to.

Was told Nissan has that issue with pumps.

This is exactly the situation with my ES 350. just to change the leaking hose at a mechanic my guy recommended for me, after which I couldn't turn my steering again as I was about leaving. The pump had failed... They said I should service it with 9k, did it and after a day the problem returned though not as stiff as it was before. It seldom becomes stiff when I want to turn a bend.... I'll keep managing it till I return to my base and have my personal mechanic fix it.

I can relate with you. My Honda EOD V6 show me pepper after changing the pump more than 4 times yet it persisted. I kukuma leave am come develop muscle because of turning stiff steering wheel.

Seems we are just in the same shoes o. I don stop to waste money. I jejely collect black oil from them to top when the sound begins.

Thank you my brother, my mechanic show me pepper last year. Took my Es330 there for him to check the Power Steering pump only for him to call his friend to come fix it cos he’s busy. Na so problem start, I bought 4 different pumps in 1 week but they kept grinding. Omo when it got out of hand I had to arrest all of them, another mechanic suggested I service the steering rack and that was all, bought another pump and still runnin smooth till this day, 5 steering pumps in 1 week bro. Na so I use change mechanic o!

The steering rack needs to be changed. The steering rack might have been scratched
