To get to be a voluntary staff you still need to know a senior management/ executive to bring you on but that will not guarantee getting retained as a staff. Even corpers do not get retained although I have heard of some corpers being kept on as contract staff in some government offices but you won't get allowances and full staff pay and privileges.
thanks sir, i understand but the experience can help when there is an opening for an organisation that is serious, but i just want to know if it is possible in gov office and what will it be called is it intenship or what?

Your degree could place you anywhere with the right connections. If you don't have connections and are under 30 try and apply for the publicly advertised government jobs that come up, even if it is outside your discipline.

But if by chance you have connections with your degree look into Power. The Parastatals under Ministry of Power pay decently I am told.. heard Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading pay the best among them.

You are very much appreciated for this.
I have been on the lookout for vacancy placements in parastatals under ministry of power but like most parastatals, they seem not to advertise anymore.
However, I have no human connection, and I have applied for any and all publicly advertised vacancies since youth service (Immigration, NDLEA, NCDMB, INEC, ICPC, FRSC, etc). It's beginning to look like applying for jobs in Nigeria is a waste of time...and resources.

NIMASA and
Printing and Minting are also A-List agencies

NIRSAL Microfinance Bank pays better than NIRSAL PLC in all aspect.

ICPC is on per with EFCC forgets the ignorant folks arguing about what they don't know the other day.

NEMA should actually be a G-list agency going by your list lol...

Federal character commission shouldn't be among any list of agency because there is no different between them and ministry lol...

Your analysis on FIRS looks personal lol but the reason for the non payment of their allowances recently was due to the fact that they recruited more than their budget could take last year but trust me they are way above E-list. I will rate them at C along with FCT-IRS.

NSITF should be on D-List because them dey collect papers too..

Good analysis from you!

Let me rest here jare....

1. NIMASA can't be in category A-Agencies...You can't place NIMASA and PEF or NCC in same grade. No. NIMASA will keep you in a vecel conveying crude oil to other country for a month and give you a peltry sum of 70.000 as allowances?

2. Minting and Printing can't be compared to CBN, they are working on their pay package to reflect same with CBN.

3. I was referring to NIRSAL Microfinance Bank

4. NEMA survived with corruption funds.

5. I agree with you on Federal Character Commission

6. My analysis with FIRS isn't personal, FIRS survive with Petroleum Income Tax and VAT. VAT has been or almost taking away from them by state government, Ogun and Akwaibom state is also warming up too, very soon FIRS will be stripped naked the 36 states. You don't sell or consume beer, but ready to collect money derived from what you forbid. Once all state succeed in taking VAT away from FIRS, they might be catogorised as F-List. (We don't pray for such though).

My analysis wasn't just base on take home salary but training and retraining of staff, capacity building, quarterly allowances, local running, 13, 14 and sometime 15 months allowances.

Some of the agencies you guys sees as A - list are actually surviving through corruption funds.

Even with this explanation, I am sorry your analysis of the agencies is still very flawed and misleading, but again everyone is free to their opinion.

On another note, I miss days when Engr Briggs and Tammy Anybody were active on here they were very careful of giving information that is not verified. These days information on this forum I urge everyone to take with a pinch of salt and do their own research.

Attorneys-general of the 36 states have sued Abubakar Malami, attorney-general of the federation (AGF), over the alleged failure of the government to remit funds generated from stamp duties into state accounts.

The states are arguing that they are the sole authority to collect stamp duties and not the federal government. This is coming at a time where there is conflict between some states and the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) over the collection of value-added tax (VAT).

A federal high court in Port Harcourt had placed a restraining order on the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) from collecting VAT in Rivers and directed the state government to take charge of the duty.

Following the court judgement, Lagos asked FIRS to stop issuing demand notices for VATpayments in the state.

In the suit filed before the supreme court on August 24 and marked SC/CV/690/2021, the state attorneys are asking the court to determine whether or not “having regard to the mandatory provisions of Section 4(2) of the Stamp Duties Act Cap. S8 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria (LFN) the plaintiffs (all the state attorneys) are not the sole authorityto administer and collect stamp duties on all transactions involving individuals/persons within their respective states?”

They also asked the court to determine “whether having regard to the provisions of Section 4(2) of the Stamp Duties Act Cap. S8 of the Laws of the Federation of Nigeria read in conjunction with the provisions of Section 163, items 58 and 59 of the Second Schedulepart I and items 7 (a) and (b) of the second Schedule part II and other provisions of the Constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended), the defendant (Malami) could claim, retain, distribute or in any other manner deal with the monies or sums collected as stamp duties on individualpersons transactions within the respective states of the plaintiffs without reference to, concurrence of, input or agreement of the plaintiffs?

”The plaintiffs are also asking the court to ascertain whether or not they are “entitled to 85% of all stamp duties collected on electronic money transfer levy, on electronic receipts or electronic transfer for money deposited in deposit money banks and financial institutions, on any type of account to be accounted for and expressed to be received by the person to whom the transfer or deposit is made in the plaintiffs’ respective states”.

Among other reliefs sought and should the issues above be resolved in their favour, all 36 states through their attorneys-general are praying the court for a declaration that they “are the sole authorities entitled to administer and collect stamp duties on all transactions involving individuals within theirrespective states”.“

A declaration that the defendant is not entitled to collect, administer, or keep the proceeds of any stamp duties on transactions involving individuals within the respective states of the plaintiffs or any manner interfere with the Plaintiff’s right and authority in the administering the provision of Section 4(2) of the Stamp Duties Act Cap. S8 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria,” they prayed.“

A declaration that the plaintiffs are entitled to all the sums of money collected by the defendant as stamp duties through whateversource or means in their respective states from 2015-2020 and thereafter till the time ofthe judgment of this honourable court with respect to individual persons’ transactions.“

A declaration that the plaintiffs are entitled to 85% of all stamp duties collected on electronic money transfer levy, on electronic receipts or electronic transfer for money deposited in deposit money banks and financial institutions, on any type of account to be accounted for and expressed to be received by the person to whom the transfer or deposit is made in the plaintiffs’ respective states.
.
”The plaintiffs also want the court to issue an order directing Malami to account for and pay back all monies and collected by way of stamp duties on individual persons’ transactions within the respective states of the Plaintiffs from the period 2015-2020 and thereafter till the time of the judgment.

“An order of this honourable court directing the defendant to pay over to the Plaintiffs all the sum of monies amounting to One Hundred and Seventy Six Billion, Sixty Seven Million, Four Hundred Thousand Naira (N 176,067,400,000,00) representing ascertained and admitted collected stamp duties on individual persons’ transactions within their respective states for the period of 2015- 2020 and thereafter till the time of the judgment of this honourable court or any other sum as the plaintiffs may be found entitled by the honourable court.

“An order of perpetual injunction restraining the defendant by himself, privies, agents or any persons by whatever name or how so ever called from appointing anyone for the purpose of collecting Stamp Duties on individual persons’ transactions within the respective states of the plaintiffs henceforth.”
No date has been fixed for hearing yet.

Yes you can, daily. But you'll have to take a vehicle to itakpe first, then join the train to Delta.
Train leaves itakpe by 1/2pm.
Train leaves ujevwu delta by 8am, stopping at the various stations before heading to itakpe.
