how did you pass advanced taxation and PSAF (public sector and finance)?
by talking trash on Nairaland?
I know these stuff because my family is filled with accountants
my bro and dad are both ICAN fellows

I repeat without oil
delta and rivers will be on par with ebonyi

Now I see that you don't have an idea about ICAN. What has advance Taxation got to do with Skill level? Your dad and bro ain't you man. Their brain ain't in your head. You have yours.

Well, according to the reality stats here, if you all understand the meaning of ' PEYE ' there you go!

Source: https://yourbudgit.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/LAGOS-STATE-DATA-BOOK.pdf

Is it PEYE or PAYE(Pay as you earn) PAYE is personal income tax related.

I'm happy that we got oil. The same oil that feeds your backward state with FAAC. Go and check your state FAAC allocation and compare it with your IGR.

At you following the news lately? What do you think is the reason for the uproar by Norhern States against Wike and Lagos. Th two governors now want to be collecting VAT as against the normal practice of FIRS collecting them.

The guy is trying to let you know there's a difference between Customs duties on goods and VAT, and you're still showing your arse. Doesn't take much to learn.

Lagos ports have been developed before Nigeria was created

Stop that scrap of a fairly tale. Pearl Harbour was built in 1908, Statue of Liberty 1775, Effiel Tower 1887... What and what was built in Lagos, before independence that you can point to?

Just one.

Nobody is favoring Lagos. Lagos favored herself by improving fedral road that has capital impact on her economy.

Lagos is Lagos because of concentration of Federal government infrastructures.

1. Bridges
2. Roads
3. Stadiums
4. University
5. Airports
6. Seaport
7. Military Installations
8. Even the government house.

All these has attracted lots of investments into Lagos. I challenge you to list infrastructures Lagos had before independence, till standing.

Appa Port the busiest Port in West Africa

Do you know that Lagos was also the Busiest Port in West Africa before the British Colonisation

That was why Yorubas called Oba of Lagos “Olowo Eko “ meaning “ The Rich man of Lagos “ because he was staggeringly Wealthy

Every Ship that docked in Lagos paid him Taxes and he Collected Sales Tax on Everything Sold in Lagos

There is even a Rumour that Oba of Lagos had Slave Ships of his own that the Portuguese managed for him doing Business between Lagos and Brazil

There are sea ports in South South but FG is subjugating them for that of Lagos to strive. If the issue of state collecting VAT scale through, Lagos State will feel the heat. It is a fish hook for them. It will lead to total revamping of the ports in Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Delta and even oil companies being directed to take their headquarters to the Niger Delta region. True federalism will kill Lagos State to an extent but Lagos is not seeing it from that angle.

By the way, I'm from Delta, Nigeria. We have the third best IGR, and most times, highest FAAC allocation

That's if an Hausa and middle belters are comfortable with with their goods passing through hostile territories or if warri is ready to accommodate different nonsense tribe Lagos is doing because of seaport. Let's go.

Are you aware most of what made the present day Lagos state used to be under the western regional government under the AG ??

Fct was just a tiny fraction of Lagos state .
Most of those Infrastructures were put in place by the colonial government.

There are federal institutions in all 36 states of the country .

IGBOS IMPORTS OVER 80% OF CONTAINERS THAT COMES IN THROUGH LAGOS. IN A FAIR PLAYGROUND COUNTRY, IGBOS IMPORTATION WILL BE COMING THROUHG OUR ONNEH PORT IN PORTHACOURT. WE MADE LAGOS WHAT IT IS TODAY. WITHOUT IGBO CONTAINERS AND PASSENGERS THROUGH LAGOS AIRPORT, LAGOS WILL BE IN SAME CATEGORY AS EKITI STATE.

BUILDING APAPA PORT IS DIFERENT FROM USING APAPA PORT. WITHOUT IGBO IMPORTERS, APAPA PORT WILL BE CLOSED DOWN. BY THE WAY, APAPA PORT WAS THE ONLY INFRASTRACTURE THAT THE WHITE COLONIAL MASTERS BUILT BEFORE INDEPENDENCE. THE REST WERE BUILT WITH BIAFRA'S OIL MONEY.

Let me explain Something to you

Lagos is not thriving because of Economic Activities but Lagos is Blessed because it was the gateway through which Christianity entered into Nigeria

God always blesses such Gateways

In the East it is Calabar and Onitsha

In the North it is Kaduna and Jos

In UK it is Kent

In Europe it was Athens and Rome

I started by stating facts. I don't when. I don't throw tantrums when have valid points.

Like I told one your brothers, Effiel Tower was built 1807, Statue of Liberty 1776, Pearl Harbour built in 1887 and lastly Third Mainland Bridge built 1991 etc

Point to three things that was built then, or are they imaginary infrastructures?

Abuja can claim same, how much was the IGR of Abuja till FG invested heavily on infrastructures as Capital of Nigeria.

Next time use your dictionary, I don't understand the meaning of obsession in your sentence, thanks.

YOU INGRATES SHOULD BE GRATEFUL TO IGBOS. YORUBAS DON'T WANT NIGERIA TO BREAK UP BECAUSE YOU ARE FEEDING OFF FROM IGBO SWEAT. FROM HOUSES, TO YOUR SEA PORTS, TO YOUR AIRPORTS, TO YOUR MARKETS TO INDUSTIRES, YOU LIVE OFF IGBOS TAXES. THEN YOU CAP IT ALL WITH MONTLY ALLOCATION MONEY FROM BIAFRA'S OIL OF WHICH MOST IS GOTTEN FROM IGBOLAND OF RIVERS STATE, DELTA AND SOUTH EAST STATES. YORUBAS WORK AND WAIT TO BE PAID AFTER THE MONTH.

ONCE BIAFRA IS RESTORED, THERE WILL BE REVERSE MIGRATION OF IGBOS BACK TO BIAFRA AND ACTIVITIES AT LAGOS PORTS AND AIRPORT WILL SWITCH OFF LIKE LIGHT BECAUSE YORUBAS ARE NOT INTO BUSINESS TO BE ABLE TO IMPORT GOODS OF THE VOLUME THAT WILL SUSTAIN APAPA AND TINCAN PORTS. YOU MUST BE AFRAID OF YOUR FUTURE.

British colonial government of Nigeria financed and built by the colonial government of Nigeria, It became the nation's busiest port for exporting agricultural produce from the provinces of Western and Northern Nigeria in the late 1920.

Yet you claim it was built by the Yorubas. I hail you.
