Hello landers, i saw a thread about men's difficulty to forgive a cheating partner, and a particular response got to me. A lady was going on about how unfair it is, for men to choose not to forgive, while women, forgave much easier. Ladies, let me enlighten ya'll. We men, value our woman's body as much as anything and another guy hitting, is a direct blow to our pride. Especially when we are in love. When anybody cheats, man/woman, he/she is entirely at the mercy of their partner. The idea of expecting forgiveness and reconciliation is absurd. That decision belongs to the person that was cheated on. They're in their right to choose, either to walk away or stay. Even if you forgave the person when he/she cheated, it doesn't mean jack. You chose to forgive and expecting forgiveness when you do the same is just not right. What i'm saying is, we should be responsible for our actions and decisions. Thanks.

I wish I could forgive cheats but I can't.

You're perfectly fine for that. But as a christian, you can forgive and still walk away. A grudge can be a burden sometimes.

Newsflash! Woman also value their man's body the same way Mrs value their women's body. Nothing different and new in that.

So here you have not said anything different except reveal you are still ignorant about women and the way they process these things.

There is no justification whatsoever for cheating and at the same time no sensible reason why anyone should claim women can but men can't forgive.

I am not saying you are taking sides. Simply stating you are wrong to think that females do not equally value the body as Much as you attempted to argue here in the case of the males.

Females also value and pride in their partner's body so when Cheating takes place they are equally hurt by that violation of their marked territory.

Okay, i understand. They should also know that they're under no obligation to forgive and stay unlike what society wants them to believe.

Personally,I don't think think I can ever tolerate a partner who has cheated on me once.....
