My own question is... Why will you take VAT from Lagos and share with Sokoto? Mbok, let every VAT be spent in the state it is generated. |

Let States takeover their domain. " to whom much is given, much is needed from him" let this stand so we'll face our governors for total transformation |

Xscape1993: The electorate from the concerned states will now focus more on their governors than the Presidency and make demands for the delivery of the dividend of democracy. The lazy and sleeping states that are parasitics and leeches will now have to look inward for INTERNALLY GENERATED REVENUE ( IGR ) Those who allow their kinsmen to roam the forest in the south in the name of cattle herdsmen will have to THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX and invite this herdsmen back home to develop their own state instead of pushing them down south to cause mayhem. 1 Like |

This was bound to happen. You can't be collecting tax and not showing us how it is spent, go to One, refinery road see how deplorable the road is. Federal roads in some parts of the country especially states that produce the high revenue are terrible. Lagos ports full of portholes. They v should allow states collect vat and remit a portion to the centre. Can't be smashing bottles of beer and be chopping the VAT on those beer bottles. Its time to be viable as a state, governors sit up! 1 Like |

The FIRS used to be the second-biggest parastatal in Nigeria after the petroleum industry's MDAs (NNPC, DPR, PEF, etc). With this tsunami about to hit the parastatal, the FIRS workers had better start looking for a job now. |
