The South East Caucus of the National Assembly has resolved to intervene in issue and detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. This was contained in a communiqué issued by the lawmakers after an extraordinary session, which held at the residence of the former Deputy President of the Senate and Leader of the Caucus, Senator Ike Ekweremadu on Wednesday 15 September, 2021. 2 Likes 1 Share

Anything to achieve peace is a welcome development. Kanu and IPOB issue wouldn't have lingered if FG had managed it well. Let's hope peace returns to Igboland. |

SLAP44:3 Sit-At-Home's in one week. My anger is that SouthEast region under Dave Umahi as Chairman hasn't fared well. The truth of the matter is that Gov Dave Umahi is confused and tired. If he can't lead Igboland, he should make way and focus only on Ebonyi State. Everything is going wrong in the region under his watch. Yes, he has done well in governing his state but he failed woefully in the bigger responsibility of advancing the course of SouthEast. They initiated Ebubeagu, where is the security outfit today?? They're building flyovers everywhere but the bigger issue is still under our nose. IPOB, Kanu issue must be resolved if we sincerely, truly and honestly want peace to return to SouthEast. 1 Like 1 Share |
